Ohh... look for another leader in history who was using children in his background during his speeches and you will have the answer.

ikr?! the similarities are staggering.

interestingly, both hitler and bush jr. were painters, aspiring monets!

Wow standing up for the constitution and personal rights is now Anti - American.

How better can this get?

What was "anti-constitution" about the legislation that was proposed?

Who? Hitler? If it's Hitler, I hope you know that once you start comparing Obama to Hitler, people cease taking you seriously. If they were to begin with.

Since they won't prosecute the nutjob or criminal if they're identified by background check anyway what's you point? You would feel safer why and how?

the nutjob or criminal is stopped from purchasing - at the point of transaction. how is this bad?

The nutjob or criminal that fails the background check today can simply go online and purchase the gun there - no background check required by law. Thus, guns are easily and readily available. Or the nutjob or criminal can go to a gun show - where coincidentally he will be among fellow nutjobs - and purchase a gun there in a private transaction - again, no background check required. What's the point of requiring background checks in some transactions but not in others if the result is one and the same - a person acquires a gun. Universal background checks make sense and would make firearms less readily available to those that are not supposed to acquire them. Plain and simple.

There is no need for any additional laws, would u disagree where ever his cronies could they have pushed for stupid laws like 7 bullets in magazine…. really.

You are being fed so smart ideas that you cannot even think what would be coming in future, once this law was passed.

When a background check fails, they are still in the records.

They do not delete your application.

Please focus your "deep concern" (as if you give two XXXX) about nutjob / criminal control on why over 70,000 criminals or nutjobs get away with violating the law now/today by attempting to purchase a gun and nobody does anything about it and follow that with a long and detailed explanation of why you think a longer list of them is going to make a dam bit of difference.

Only a matter of time before a conservative brings up Hitler in a gun discussion

At least you made the liberal say the actual name.

You think that criminals and nutjobs who really want to hurt people freely walking the streets is not a problem why?

So that they can act out their desire to hurt people by spending $100 or so for a few components that will hurt some people in an even more effective way?

i don't get it.
