That's a good point. Background checks are pointless because all you have to do it steal one from someone who passed the check. So the only way to really limit the gun violence is limiting the supply of guns? I agree. Lets do it!

Summary: If you want to do damage no law will stop you unless you're locked up or dead. There is no room to lock you up, so I am very appreciative to our senators who protected my right to make you dead if you try to do damage around me.

Missing the point. The goal is to reduce gun violence. I just went around a background check to get a gun. Now what are you going to do? Make another law...... I'll go around it, because laws only stop criminals when a police officer catches the criminal. So what can we do? Nothing? Or put less guns out into the pool every year going forward in an attempt to decrease the crimes associated with guns.

Make it easier for ppl with mental disorder to get a proper treatment help them with rehab just coz one crazy nut used a gun, you go after gun.

Even today all the lic dealer does not matter where they sale, on internet or in gunshow they are required to run the background check.
