Hi everyone! Just got our NOA2 today after 238 days :)

Need your help to get started organizing the files my USC fiance needs to forward to me in the next few days.

VJ step-by-step guide lists "all originals of the documentary proof that you submitted for the I-129F to your fiance(e) for their interview at the embassy."

Specifically:

-original birth certificate

-original adoption paper + name change

-original passport

-original forms, proofs of relationship, passport pictures(?), letter of intent, financial docs

Can someone confirm how many authenticated copies of birth certificates are needed? Passport type photos?

How important is it to present his orig passport? reluctant to include as it could get lost in transit...

Are there other documents I missed?

Thanks in advance.

From the USC petitioner, you will need the following:

1. completed and signed form 134 (financial support)

2. certified copy of divorce decree (if any)

3. recently dated and signed letter of intent to marry

4. certified copy of birth certificate

The rest of the forms, you will have to accomplish and provide like the passport.

Good luck!

Don't send your passport! Never mail away your passport. If you do not have more than one of your original adoption papers, then I would not mail away those type of things either. Just send copies. I ordered more copies of my birth certificate and divorce decree from the state and sent one each of those. If you can order extra copies of things, then I think you should do that for your adoption papers too.

Only the foreign fiance(e) will need more passport photos for the interview.

Yes, also send an updated letter of intent along with your I-134 and supporting documents.
