That seems very quick! I filed for AOS about a week after you and I haven't heard anything yet, except for my biometrics appointment a week ago... Are you adjusting from a K1 or from a different kind of visa? I'm wondering if adjustments from B1/B2 or F1 are processed differently/faster, or if it only depends on the backlog at the local USCIS office. When I log on to the USCIS website I can only see that my case was updated last on April 22, 3 weeks before my biometrics appt....

Can anyone share their experience about walk-in bio-metric test ? I am thinking to do the same as at the same date i have an conflicting schedule. I live in Virginia. I want to know how they behave to early walk-in people. please share.

I have exactly the same timeline with one other member in here. He did walk-in biometrics and I didn't. But we got Interview and testing e-mail the same day and even our Interview is on the same date! :)

When I did our bio appointment in Wichita Kansas I wasn't allowed inside only my wife. They didn't even have seating inside so I had to set outside in the sun sad.png (They said only people with apointment are allowed inside) Wichita is 1 hour away so its not like I could just drop her off. They needed our marriage license because the name on the passport is different then her married name. So keep that in mind if using your passport for id and the name doesn't match married name just back it up with marriage license most places will accept it.

It didn't take long though we got there early maybe 10 minutes they weren't very busy

Looks like no interview so I am going to have to wait out the long process hopefully EAD comes next month I know she is ready to work

5/22 - received email saying that application is in scheduling (EAD still in initial review)
