Interview was this morning, Wife who is USC first, then both of us, didn't really need to see any documents just confirmed name address etc, then asked where we first met and two other questions, then said it's clear this is a genuine marriage, so I'm going to approve you Congratulations. He asked for my EAD, and removed I94 from my passport, told me we should get the card in a couple of weeks. I explained that I travel for work how would I re-enter without advanced parole if I had to travel before Green Card arrived. He went off to check and came back and said he would give me a temporary Green Card valid for 60 days in my passport there and then. So he then had to log on and officially approve file stamp everything and then put I551 in my passport total time from Wife going to interview to leaving building with Green Card 29 minutes.

Congrats, CaroSL!! Do you know why your EAD took so long to be approved?? Did you have an RFE at some point?? It seems most people take 60-70 days max.

I have no clue. AP was approved in 65 days. My guess is that they misplaced my file. I called them and made a service request as soon as I could (never got any follow up on that) I called my representative (no follow up either). I also called and asked them to resend me the notice saying that the AP was approved (they never send it, for nobody, it is just something that the website say but they don't actually do it). They told me they would send it. I was actually just trying to draw attention to my case coz it was very strange that my EAD was not approved yet. I also made an infopass. I am not sure if the problem solved itself or if I solved it. With the USCIS, it is hard to know. I don't regret trying anyway.

HI GUYS!

Glad to know that some of you are getting approvals...congratulations!!

I filed in the first week or april and the case status when i check on the uscis website says its till on acceptance...im starting to get really worried...it has not even moved to "initial review"...could someone please shed some light on how ur cases proceeded...as u all understand this is very frustrating..its close to 7 months now...

The case status means NOTHING. My wifes said "case cannot be found at this time" from the time we sent the papers until it was approved.
