Hello. :) Sorry if I'm posting this in the wrong section. I would just like to ask if what are the requirements if a Senior Citizen files for a joint-sponsorship(I-864)?

My mom didn't meet the quota because her income is not sufficient. So a good friend of my mom would like to help us to file for a joint-sponsorhip. What are the factors to consider for the joint sponsorship to be approved? Given we submitted all the proper documents, does being a senior citizen, his residence or any other to consider affects anything? Thanks! :)
