This probably isn't what you want to hear, but your NOA1 is from December, which means you've only been waiting four months - a relatively short amount of time. There are folks still waiting from June and July. Not to mention, most Florida field offices in general are pretty packed, meaning you're in for a couple more months of waiting.

You can contact the field office or make an appointment to stop in to ask questions in person if you'd like, but just be aware that the average wait is somewhere between 6 - 8 months, so you still have a ways to go.

Good luck. good.gif

awwwwwww, thank you soo much, Im getting ready to send their request of evidence, but im a little confused the evidence that they want is my original native birth certificate, I sent in the translated virgin, but the request said a certified copy of the original birth certificate from Egypt which where im from, the thing is I an old virgin of the birth certificate and a new virgin, the translation though was from the old one, so what should I send exactly????

version not virgin.... Just letting you know.

You should send the original of whatever was translated. At NVC they need originals.

You are asking why it is taking so long to get your NOA2 yet you haven't responded to the RFE? Perhaps you should slow down and take care of your task before asking what is taking so long. At least you know that they have looked at your file. And be sure as to whether or not you are sending an original or a certified copy or just a photocopy because you will need the original for NVC stage. Also, as Niki pointed out, you need to send the same as what they have a translated version of. That should have been sent originally.

Instead of being upset that it is taking so long I would be grateful that they didn't send your package back to you because you were missing an item but instead opted to ask you to supply the missing document.

Once you send what they have asked for then you can start watching the timing. Until then, you should not be complaining about why it is taking so long since it is up to you to get your case moving again.

I cannot version a virgin till yer sitting with the man (or lady) at an infopass appointment.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

ok thank u for the lovely reply hun, its just full of respect in the way you word things!!!!!!!!!!!!, and for your information I wrote that thread before I received the letter for the RFE, which was 2 days ago and which means I didn't knw what was happening yet, you shoulda checked the date of the tread and the date I received the RFE before you reply with such wonderful attitude, and that is if you even cared which probably did not and wanted to just say something for the heck of it, and secondly im higly grateful with my RFE letter and I made a thread about it sayin how thrilled I really was about it, and the last thing I need really is for somebody to tell me how to act, we're all in the same boat and we all get frustrated unless your a special case, then great for you, but really if you don't have anything positive to reply back to somebody who is frustrated about the process that half the nation go through and get frustrated about as well, then keep your lovely reply!!!!!!! and one last thing the reason for me to start that thread was not to complain or make a pity thread for my frustration, I was actually hoping for somebody out there who might off possibly went through the same field office as mine and might tell me more about the office, and again thanks greatly for that high light of my day with ur reply!!!!!

Fair enough... I did not go research your RFE to see when it arrived. You are correct in that. I do apologize. However, I am responding to THIS thread and not wandering off looking for other posts that might be related to you. Chewing me out for stating something that is 100% accurate based on this particular post, is also not necessary.

My response to THIS post was spot on, based on the continuation of the posts where you mention the RFE. There was no attitude from me, just clarity regarding meeting the needs of your particular situation. You might consider, in the future, updating your own posts. For example: you could have come back to this post and explained that you got an RFE as a new response to the post. THEN, for those of us who are coming and trying to help, and reading through this thread, we would know what was going on and not make you feel like we are putting you down somehow.

I apologize, again, if I made you feel upset, which I obviously have. But would like to remind you again that chewing ME out in this way is not necessary. I don't need to be scolded. I am someone who is active on the boards and here to help in whatever way I can. I could have just left after I got my Visa like so many people do but I said I would stick around to help and provide updated information since I have just recently gone through the process.

that is great for you, just like how u stated that you don't need to be scolded same goes for me, and your reply really didn't have any kind of indication of help, and to me personally I consider it disrespect to the fact that u don't even know me to reply to me in this kind of way and u basically just made me look like a whiny person lookin for pity and not doing what im supposed to do and I just post threads to whine like a child, which I totally do not highly appreciate and for that I replied in the same tone as ur reply!!!! and if you did read the previous reply that I had before niki u woulda seen that it clearly state that there have been an update for my case by me asking tomvan about my requested evidence which if you read was tellin me that they noticed that I got a RFE and actually congratulated me on the SAME Thread with a positive reply, so making me look like a whiny person searching for pity was also not nessecary.
