i just got NOA2 and i paid $88 for the aos(I-864) fees.

my income is more than the poverty level of $23,550 for 2013. i am confused about what documents do i need to submit along with the I864. please help.

1. employment letter verifying my job/salary

2. letter from bank verifying my account/balance?

3. proof of mortgage/house ownership. what can i submit here as a proof of mortgage or to prove that i own the house? do i even need to submit this proof?

4. tax receipts from IRS for past 3/4 years(if i cant get these from IRS can i just send copies of my tax returns for these years?)

5. do i also need to submit W2's?

If you think there are any other documents i need to submit, can you please tell me.

I have sent her many gifts and also send her money, do i need to attach these receipts with the 864 as well?

Have you read to see if you qualify to fill out an I-864ez instead of the I-864? It's a shorter, simpler form if you meet the three qualifications. We used it instead of the I-864.

You need tax transcript from IRS. Its less pages that you have to send in. You only need your house if you are going to use it assets to make you reach the income level. So if you make enough you don't have to use your house.

Employment Letter: You need to collect a proof of current employment or self employment to send with I-864.

IRS transcripts: You can request your tax return transcripts for previous 3 years for free from the IRS. There is no charge for the transcript and you should receive it in 10 business days from your request received at IRS.

Call (800) 829-1040 and follow below steps as per prompt in the recorded message to request tax return transcript. This documents will be mailed to the address where you last filed your tax return.

DS-230: - part 1 and 2 (remember do NOT sign part 2).

You need the information from your last 3 years of taxes, but you are only required to provide the tax transcript for the most recent year. You can get them for free from the IRS by phone, online or walking into your local IRS office. If you do not get the preferred IRS transcript, then you need to send a complete copy of your return with all forms, schedules, W-2s and/or 1099s.

Prove your current income with a letter from your employer and/or most recent pay stub(s).

If your income is sufficient, there is no need to list assets or provide proof of them.

thank you for the I-864ez suggestion, i checked the 3 questions on the form and yes i qualify. so should i just go ahead and fill that out and send it in instead of I-864?

I called IRS but it gives me an error about wrong information. so i faxed the form, will that work?

my income is sufficient. so all i need to send with the I-864ez is a letter from my employer and IRS receipts. am i correct?

the DS-230 has to be sent along with the I864ez?

Yes you can! Way easier form. :). But you still need the tax transcripts, an employment letter stating yearly salary and preferably some recent pay stubs.

Second part:

No. The ds-230 is the immigrant visa application and is sent with the IV package after the IV invoice is paid.

We sent 6 months. I would say no less than 3 months. That's 6 pay stubs.
