Question, why when your in Jamaica, why dont the woman there like to see you with the men from their country? At first I thought it was just me but notice from another post that someone experience the same situation.

Me myself when I first went to jamaica

last yr when I first met fiance I notice a couple of girls try to make me jealous with him. Such as walking by and saying hey in a flirtatious way to him. My last visit there which was for Christmas my soon to be sister and law and her friends staged, text messages in his phone to make it seem like he was cheating and sending phone credit to the same number... I experienced something like that from my husband's jamaican ex wife. She sent me a message saying that " why I couldn't get me an american man"? I never did anything to her,but she hated my guts, and tried to make my husband life in cayman horrific  So when they described me,they would call me "The American Girl" :wow:

Biggest problem right there - Why are you supporting him and his family? He was surviving before you - if he's a true proud JA man he's not taking money from you to live off of - Also, keep your eyes and ears open - who told you the SIL and her friends set up the text? Classic story line if he's the one who told you that.

Good question, and the reason why is because I love him. And when you love someone you will support your man. Which Im sure you would do if you were in the same situation. But please understand I'm not just dropping off boat loads of money in his pocket. When When I got with him he only had two pair of pants(which wasnt nice looking). So basically our story is the Cinderella story backwards. He was working doing the ganja thing so of course he had to give that up. Which he did for me. He never finish school bc of him having to go work(which is not his fault).. So he do work such chopping bush and mixing concrete. My nman us not a lazy man he does what he can plus more. So now when I send him money for ex. It bags a 50lbs bag if rice and since he stays with his mom and other sibling so of course he's not just gonna let them starve. Before me he was starving. And now that he have me and I will do my best to not that let happen.

Now because he was tooken out of schoo srp early and bc of if "you dont use it you loose it" he cant read. Therefore he cant text. Plus her friend is known as the "devil" for mashing up ppl relationship and sleeping with everbody even slept with her aunts baby daddy... I heard diff. Ppl talk about this while I was there.

I too have experienced the stares and snickers. At first it seemed to bother me a bit, but then it gave me the opportunity to see how my fiance handled it. He generally ignores the looks and stares, however will address rude behavior head on! I guess to the Jamaican woman the perception is foreigners are taking away from their possibilites. When I walk around with my fiance, I look directly at these woman. I remember us walking through downtown and a couple of JA woman smiling at my fiance. I started directly at their eyes. Once the looked at me the corrected their sight and kept looking straight while walking. I let out a smile. When this happens I look at my fiance, he just keeps looking straight ahead.

Regarding the money situation, I'm with "Sus". My fiance never asks me to maintain him. I do top up his phone but we do this in rotation. One month me the other him. It's what works for us. Plus for me it keeps it a fair playing ground.

I stumble on the text message bc his messages was full from my old ones from texting him to call me. Plus you know if you're man cheating and he never have made me to second guess that. I use to though and that was bc of listening to friends or hearing ppl stories and doing that only cause confusion in my head. But my man is a good man he dont have to be Jamaican to be one.

Girl mines after we caught on to what they was doing mines stop speaking back. One time he had to correct one guy who was trying to talk to me. (rude)

Please understand if he had he would do for himself plus me but he do not have and he didnt have before me. He doesn't take pride in getting from me. Trust me yall dont know not even a piece of the situation... My baby went for days without eating just bc he didnt want me to know he was hungry. He tries to hide his hungriness from me... But That's not something you can hide. My baby does not have running water or lights. He's my Tarzan and I love him and he's the best man ever. When my family was adding on to their house down there and he was getting a work he was topping up and then I was topping up. But of course work stop. Trust me if yall love yall man like yall say yall do Yall would do what I did probably even plus more. I mean that's what love is... And I would give him my last and my first that is why he's my soon to be husband.

I completely understand your paticular situation. Not everyone lives the same. I know conditions in JA are bad... I mean conditions are bad here so imaging a 3rd world country. No worries you do your thing.

Is it a Jamaican woman thing or just a woman thing? I cant say I ever had that prob (I am a woman of he hem a certain age) LOL but this happen among

American girls, black women who sees black men with white women, is it a age ting...I never get the evil eyes from women when we go to Jamaica, there

are at times a few somewhat brazen females , but if your man finds it laughable laugh too and keep it moving...yes a few in the 40s behave that way but...

don't kill me ok....lots of sisters have issues or attitude probs where men are concerned.....I always were welcomed by the Jamaicans ladies, some are so

nice...a few are conniving. My sister in law only date American men, she don't care what Jamaican do, so sister enjoy YOUR man. LOL
