I filed for my wife and am an USC,recently we got this status online,can anyone help me please? I am looking for answers from people who had same kind of status when they applied,help will be highly appreciated. Thanks...

Your Case Status: Initial Review

On April 12, 2013, we mailed you a notice that we certified our approval of this case and sent it to the appropriate appellate body for review. They will notify you directly when they make a final decision. If you move while this case is pending, follow the instructions provided in the notice and use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address or call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283.

10/08/2016: Application Package Sent

10/31/2016: Early Biometric Done (Walk-In)

12/06/2016: In Line for Interview

04/20/2016: Online Status Changed to "Interview was Scheduled" 

05/25/2017: Interview Date- Approved!

06/01/2017: Reply to RFE (N-14) Sent

09/20/2017: Email from Ombudsman confirming that they got in touch with USCIS, advised to wait 60 days.

09/22/2017: Request to find out about the case to Senator, acknowledged the receipt of inquiry.

10/02/2017: Ombudsman’s office notified that USCIS made a decision on the case and I will be informed by USCIS within 30 days.

10/02/2017: Talked with a Tier-2 officer and he informed my case was in line for oath since September 22nd, 2017.

10/10/2017: Online status changed to “Inline for Oath ceremony”

10/14/2017: Online status changed to “Oath Ceremony Letter Mailed”

11/03/2017: OATH CEREMONY!

looks like they will be transferring your case to a local field office for approval . National Benefit Center has been sending cases to their local field offices as of August 2012 so this may be your answer. You should call USCIS and speak to teeir 2 operator and ask specific questions such as :

when was my case transferred

what local field office was it transferred too ??

iw ish you luck on this journey !!!

Does this mean they approved it? or does it mean have to wait more for approval to come? Will call them on Monday,thank you very much for your reply and the wish :)

Hello, I am also a November filer, filed on 26th of November. We called many times and had different kind of responses. On 27th of March they said we will definitely get something withing next 60 days which should be May, 27th. In the meantime I got this status update, but did not get anything in mail yet. Can anyone please help me understand what it means?

What news from calling the USCIS hotline?

The stupids are saying that it went for review and this is the second time this happened to my file. He said, it went for review on January and now again for final review and he can't even say where the file went this time. I asked if they need so much review and have so many doubts why they don't ask me for more evidence?, he was like, he doesn't know what the review is all about and sometime it can go for review thrice. :bonk:
