OK think enough other threads have been hi-jacked so if we need a great big rant or a consolation hug then this is the thread we should be in. It's not fair on the lucky ones that have got their NOA2 for us to gripe all over their happy threads.

Yea I am sick to the back teeth of waiting, it hurts everytime I see someone else getting approved even though I am happy for them. Just praying it will soon be my turn. Hopefuly fiance is calling his Senator later today :)

Hi Oregon, guess i'll be joining this pity party. What pisses me off is that they try to explain it's first come first serve, an obvious LIE. Not everyone had an expedited request. How do I get one anyway? Expedite my petition or else i'll be on psychological drugs soon!!!

August 7 CSC filer here. Back in August when I filed, I was hopeful because timelines were pretty quick for CSC. I kept thinking how lucky I was to be sending my petition to CSC. I tentatively began planning my fiance's travel, location for wedding, quarantine paperwork for her dog, etc, etc, etc. At 5 months, I thought about contacting my State Senator but was still hopeful things would speed up. As I wrote in another thread, I contacted my State Senator 3 weeks ago by email, called them yesterday, and signed the consent form. Hopeful that this will at least get my petition on the desk of someone for adjudication.

Good evening and welcome to you all. Pull up a couch, lay back, close your eyes and dream of the day.............

OK, ok less of that

Complain all you need to in this thread but PLEASE remember that the filers from November and December that have been approved got lucky. They do not deserve a verbal bashing.

Lets support and try to understand each others frustration. Sometimes it helps to shout and rant :)

I put no blame on the ones who received the NOA2. My frustration and anger is all channeled to the USCIS. Anyways, anyone check igors list lately? Do you like how the DEC bar is higher than the AUG bar? Personally, I find it hilarious!

First come first served would be wonderful wouldn't it but do you realise your file WAS processed in date order (this thought occurred to me today) The file is received at the service Centre and we are sent the NOA1. For instance my NOA1 is 7th August BUT on the USCIS site my file was touched 10th August. Guess they did something with it right then IN DATE ORDER!

Yep we planned our filing to make it possible for me and my kids to travel to USA in June and spend the summer out there before my kids started new schools in September. They would atleast have been a bit more used to the place by then. Now we are hoping for Christmas! It's not what we were hoping for when we set off on this journey.

BUT 31 petitions August approved and 21 petitions December. It's showing higher because there are less December filers on Visa Journey just now.

Am happy for anyone getting approval from the CSC. Also one of the black hole filers. No one now or in the future should have to experience this and we need to change the law to prevent this from occuring over and over.

July 17th here. If I were my boss I'd fire me since I can barely work and write a line of code anymore.

Can't visit fiancée since I raise my son, and since is from Philipinnes she can't get a tourist visa.

I've watched all Start Trek Next Generation and I'm almost done with DS9.

On the bright side I monitor a few case # adound mine and 3 were approved yesterday.

Keep hoping guys. It seems Vermont is slowing down and California is working on cases. It may be too early to predict BUT a July 17th NOA2 who just got approved did not have any congressional help by the looks of things. Dare we start to be hopeful? Maybe......

I'm right in there with you! Today I sat for an hour unable to fix a php file for a web page. headbonk.gif

Hope this means something ... From another thread. http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/425194-new-info-regarding-csc/

I am so frustrated with the process.. Poor customer service, being singled out to sit and wait while others go ahead.. It sure sems like the people at USCIS / CSC have made it their job to keep people apart from their loved ones..

Good luck everyone hopefully we will hear soon!

My goodness, approvals are being spit out at CSC... dare I be hopeful?!

oh csc, why do you build me up? buttercup baby just to let me down..

 and we are singing! Mild hysteria setting in?

Ok I will share a personal moment with you all. Before Greg and I had Skype, we used to share music to express our feelings. This particular track is probably as meaningful now than it was back then. I think a few of you ill also relate to it.

The link is to you tube. If it doesn't play for you then it is Jason Mraz and Colbie Caillat......Lucky

Enjoy!
