He is entitled to a trial and a jury will determine whether he is guilty or not. It it the American Justice system, not perfect, but better than most other places in the world. Black, white, yellow, orange, blue, green, you're entitled to a trial by a jury of your peers.

He did attack GZ. I think that has been established.

TM got the better of the ARMED pansy that started the confrontation. You think wrong.

tm got what punks get when they @#$% with someone armed. i have witnessed first hand the attitude shift of someone looking for trouble before and after they are looking down the wrong end of a gun..

Right, because TM was the aggressor, he was following GZ, who was minding his own business going home from the store, oh wait...

If TM had been afforded a trial first, he'd still be alive today. Why was GZ not concerned about TM's right to due process?

Because TM was guilty from the moment GZ saw him. It disgusts me that the folks here condemn TM for attacking someone who was following him but praise GZ for chasing down a teenager who was walking home from the store and initiating a conflict that resulted in his death.

 Seems he wasn't trying to #### with anyone. Unless someone generally buys candy before going on a crime spree.

Seems he was responding to being f*cked with. By an armed adult with nothing better to do.

So by your logic, you can't defend yourself unless the aggressor has a trial before they attack you? Makes sense.

That certainly works for Canada - it's on you to prove-up it works for you in the USA, however.

Good Luck, I pray you are still around after completing your experiment and come to no harm.

Everyone thinks GZ should get a fair trial, I think so too. But do I think he should do some jail time? Absolutely. Why? Because no matter what anyone says or tries to twist the logic you can't avoid the simple undeniable truths in this situation:

GZ is directly responsible for that boy's death. Period. You can change the wording or spelling all day but in the end, the simple fact remains that once GZ got out fo the car and chased him, there was going to be confrontation. Rebellious teen? Please. That might have flown IF he caught TM doing something illegal or if he confronted him in the very beginning, you know, in a public, well lit place, rather than the back alley of a neighborhood at night atfer running him on foot after he couldn't continue tailing him in his vehicle and TM just went off the rails and started wailing on him. Then I would say he was defending himself and it would be case closed.

What needs to happen here is people need to stop looking at the race and look at the facts. Fact: TM was not committing any crime walking home from store, his suspensions for grafitti and smoking weed, has no bearing on that. Fact: GZ got out of his car to follow this kid even though he was instructed not to. Fact: GZ at no time said he identified himself as the neighborhood watch and tried to talk to Tm, he says that TM snuck up behind him and asked did he have a problem, he said no, then TM attacked him. This was AFTER GZ chased him. Now, he says he was walking back to his car when TZ confronted him, logic says, had he just reported him to the police, and let due process do it's thing(the very process that everyone says GZ deserves, yet TM wasn't afforded this) chances are the police would have questioned him, let him go and that would be the end of it. But actions have reactions, yet all these folks that are against TM for attacking GZ can't fathom that GZ might have started this first, and when TM got the best of him, he shot him.
