It's a website thing. type JFK and then a space. type MLK and then a space. Even in your reply above is shows it mis-spelled.

You know I can't let racism stand, now I have to go rant on some more folks.

I really need to learn how to attach images better on this website. Everytime I try it on this website, it's a 20 minute ordeal. Maybe I should go play around in Games until I get up to speed.

Don't feel bad, it took me like a year to figure it out.

It's not about winning Run, it's about how the rules change for certain people. There should have been a trial a long time ago, it shouldn't have taken the POTUS and several folks to intervene for this to come to pass.

All I am saying is, folks say we should get rid of special programs, and that everyone should be treated equally under the law. I agree 100% but it's funny how much we actually know for a fact in this case: We know TM was walking home doing nothing but talking on his cell phone, we know that GZ called the cops based on his skin color and his clothing choice, we know that 911 told him not to follow him, we know that GZ ignored this and kept following him, and we know at some point that there was an altercation which resulted in GZ getting his nose broken, his head busted, and TM dead.

Now if it was proven that TM attacked GZ for no reason, you have to explain to me how this is possible with the facts above say that couldn't be the case.

He was being chased by a grown man at night, otherwise he could have stopped and confronted GZ the second he knew he was being followed.

I did not literally mean you won, i just meant we have said all this ad nausem and lets just wait for the facts to come out.

I will add that as far as what yo uare saying we know as a facts. You know for a fact TM was doing nothing ? You know for a fact GZ called based only on his skin color. Really you know all that. .You da man.

Here is the transcript:

Zimmerman

Hey we've had some break-ins in my neighborhood, and there's a real suspicious guy, uh, it's Retreat View Circle, um, the best address I can give you is 111 Retreat View Circle. This guy looks like he's up to no good, or he's on drugs or something. It's raining and he's just walking around, looking about.

Dispatcher

OK, and this guy is he white, black, or hispanic?

Zimmerman

He looks black.

You see, Trayvon Martin was walking around, looking about. What was the problem again?

Um, GZ had a record of domestic abuse, and assaulting a police officer with resisting arrest.

Yes he did. We have all said all along he is probably not without blame and his character is important also. It is a fact however that he did not just walk up to TM and cap him. There are shades of doubt on both sides and lets just let the factscome out.

You saying TM was did nothing and was killed for being black would be absurd as us saying GZ was saving his neighborhood from being over run

Want to know the difference in blacks and civil rights today.

You know the first black woman arrested in Montgomery for refusing to give up her seat to a white person was. ?? I will give you a hint it was not Rosa Parks. There is a reason it was not Rosa Parks.. There is also a reason Rosa Parks is celebrated for this action.

But you see the difference? GZ had been arrested and had issues with law enforcement on more than one occasion, but where is the outrage? Who's calling him a woman beater, a law breaker? Everyone is quick to bring up TM's issues in a heart beat, but not GZ, because no one except most of the black community can see that he was in the wrong the second he got out of his car to chase him.

Claudette Colvin was the first. But she was deemed too dark skinned to be effective for the cause, and she was pregnant by a married man. When it comes to us, you can't have any mistakes, as TM plainly shows.

He wasn't "picked" to be a martyr. He was killed under some shady circumstances. Now I will agree that using the media to twist the interpretation of TM was wrong, it didn't matter that he threw the middle finger up in his photos, or smoking weed. Although you have some on this site that think those things warrant a death sentence.

But it's ok to bring up GZ's history?

I'm pointing out how folks keep forgetting that. Everyone says that TM was a thug who got what he deserved, not a single person has said, but GZ had a provlem with domestic violence and he had run ins with the law, maybe he overreacted? All effort has been made to paint TM as the bad guy who assaulted GZ without provocation, yet no one can explain why GZ got out of the car and pursued a guy who was walking around looking about.

I guess it will all come out at the trial. This TM/GZ thing just goes around in circles.

Republicans who have been president and vice-president have done such things. Bush and his drug use. Rockefeller and his infamous 'salute'. Cheney and Nixon with their foul language. The crime is doing any of those things or others like wearing a hoodie while black!

I'm guessing some of the more unstable folks would've done the same thing. Black teenagers are scary.
