Funny how people will mention the little things (not the phone call) that Trayvon's girlfriend lied about. But nobody likes to mention the various changes in GZ's story.

kind of like the whole criminal record thing..

actually he was out already out of his truck trying to see where he went, when they told him not to follow him. GZ said Ok... and by most accounts was heading back to his truck when he was attacked.

I know they are just facts... not important.

Pop Quiz hot shot(I love the movie Speed)

How are you heading back to your truck IF you weren't following him?

He was moving when he was on the phone, and had been moving towards TM when he was told not to, he continued to give out his coordinates for about another minute, if he was heading back to his car like his story claimed, why wasn't he attacked while he was on the phone with his back turned(his account)?

Something to add to the "facts".... When the police told GZ that they didn't need him to follow TM, his response was "okay" He didn't ignore what the police said, he followed their instructions. The conversation with the police then veered towards where GZ would meet the police. At this time, GZ had no idea where TM was. That was why he didn't give the police his home address; because he had no idea where TM was. Sadly, the confrontation that led to the death of TM happened because TM approached GZ.

So, I suppose TM dragged GZ out of his truck and then several hundred feet over to the place where GZ would kill him? That makes sense.

Nobody denies that GZ got out of his truck and was following TM. That's not a crime. They both have the right to walk in the neighborhood.

GZ then followed the instructions of the police and stopped looking for TM. Then TM confronted GZ. If there were no confrontation; then TM would still be alive today.

Apparently they don't. After all, that's all TM was doing and he ended up being followed and having the cops called on him.

But he is not dead because he was walking in the neighborhood. He's dead because he allegedly attacked GZ.

That is not what the 911 transcript shows:

911 dispatcher:

OK, do you just want to meet with them at the mailboxes then? [3:42]

Zimmerman:

Yeah, that’s fine. [3:43]

911 dispatcher:

Alright, George, I’ll let them know you’ll meet them at …

Zimmerman:

Could you have them call me and I’ll tell them where I’m at? [3:49]

911 dispatcher:

OK, that’s no problem.

Zimmerman:

My number … you’ve got it?

911 dispatcher:

Yeah, I’ve got it. 435-2400?

Zimmerman:

Yeah, you got it.

911 dispatcher:

OK, no problem. I’ll let them know to call you when they’re in the area. [4:02]

Zimmerman:

Thanks.

911 dispatcher:

You’re welcome.

Call ends 4:07

Yes he is. Would GZ had followed him had he not been walking around the neighborhood? They wouldn't have known each other existed had GZ not done something he shouldn't have done. And why did he do something he shouldn't have? Because TM had the nerve to be "suspicious" by walking down the street.

But he is dead because he was walking in the neighborhood. GZ had already made his mind up that this kid was up to no good, and pursued him relentlesssly until there was an altercation.

That is not what the 911 transcript shows:

Just before the part you included:

Dispatcher

What's your apartment number?

Zimmerman

It's a home it's [house number removed], (knocking sound) oh ####### I don't want to give it all out, I don't know where this kid is.

And then he talks to the police about where to meet. I don't see where he says he's going to keep looking for Trayvon.

the double standard is strong with this one..

Perhaps GZ had made up his mind about the kid; you're probably right.

But pursued him relentlessly? He had lost the kid and was making plans on where to meet the cops. And the altercation was started by Trayvon.

and let us not forget, how often gz had called police about 'suspicious' people in the month before this occurred..

also, 'they always get away' is very telling. gz had an ax to grind.

The altercation that GZ initiated by pretending he was a cop.

Why didn't he meet the police where his vehicle was parked? That makes more sense to me, why would I wait in an area where this kid I spent over 4 minutes chasing?
