Hi everyone, in 2003 I received a warning for criminal damage, I was 17 and stupid. Basically I'm concerned of how this will affect my Visa.

Will the fact I was under 18 help?

Should I still report it?

In the DS - 156 form it requires me to tick as to whether or not I was arrested, should that be ticked as yes?

It was on my Enhanced CRB check so I'm assuming it will be on my Police Certificate. My petition has just been approved and things will get pretty hectic soon, any help will be much appreciated.

Chances that it will effect you now are slim, however lying or "not telling" asked for information, ie. crimminal history is a HUGE deal. Always be honest when dealing with the Govt, ESP Immigration. Good Luck on your journey!

Thanks, I will make sure to answer yes to being arrested. I just hope they don't immediately say "Denied" as a result!

Hi,

May I suggest that depending on a country interview will be held at, you might want to obtain details of your criminal record to take with you to the interview. They do not deny applications straight away but may want some details prior to approving visa and put you on AP until this is done.

Can you fill in your timeline please?

I have applied some of the information for my timeline as requested.

Would a copy of the Police Certificate be suitable for criminal record details? What does AP mean?

Sorry for my Newbie-ness :)
