This morning at 9AM EST, I called (202)663-1225 and found out the operator/agent is from abroad. She first said "Good afternoon", which I am not usually used to, I know there was some change since every time I called in the past few weeks, the operators were from the U.S..

She said it is under AP, no idea how long. I find the operator was not patient in taking the call.

So does this mean from now on, DOS inquiry line will all be operated abroad? Did you find any change in the quality of service?

Like many credit card companies, the U.S. government institutions also handled their customer service lines abroad. Very interesting change. So does that mean the U.S. based operators who used to work for DOS will be out of their jobs?

perhaps she was muddled ? I think you might have the wrong assumption.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.
