Has anyone tried to figure out if CSC is moving forward towards January since they seem to be processing December, or are they going from December backwards towards July?

Its hard to guess, I mean if you look at the approvals they are mostly Nov/Dec with a few Aug in there. I have no idea but I have waited long enough for them to skip me over others. I just cannot take the BS they are feeding me and others about processing July 18th. My fiancee and I have reached our melting point with the wait. Not that I have anything against the people who are approved from Dec and all but dammit I have been waiting patiently for almost 9 months now and I should have something in hand either RFE or NOA2. Enough is enough.

Sounds good to me.

Honestly I think people are right. They are padding the numbers and moving forward and sweeping the back together.

If someones been waiting 9 months I would get ahold of your representitive and start the process moving for you.

I'm hoping they have time to work in some January petitions. My fiancée is greeting anxious that they won't get here in time for her son to start school in the fall. Thankfully I'll see her in a week so I can try to manage her expectations but as you guys know that can be a tightrope even though relatively speaking we've not been waiting long.

Why would they work in January petitions? Almost all of the August, September and August filers are still waiting.

Why would they do some January petitions? For the same reason they did November and December, to help their processing time average. If they just process everything in order the average processing time will grow and grow but if they throw in just enough later petitions they can clear the backlog while keeping their average from growing. Cruel, but it wouldn't surprise me that they think that way.

Retemad, everyone here has one thing is common - they are all separated from someone they love. On either side of the CSC black hole, emotions are running high. Can you try to be empathetic? I don't think there's a single person here who wouldn't choose to be reunited - in or out of order.

Let's keep this community supportive.
