You won't be able to pay the bill until you get your Invoice ID. Call them back later today and ask for it, then enter both numbers into the online fee payment portal here https://ceac.state.gov/CTRAC/Invoice/signon.aspx You will also need the information from a US bank account to pay. You can find the account and routing information on the bottom of your checks, or by calling your bank. It is just like paying by check.

Edit: Don't worry if you don't see anything to pay right away. It might take a day or two. Just check the payment portal every so often.

great guys,,, i just also got an email from NVC and i sent first payment 88 dollar..

now shall i send ds-3032 form or wait till it shows paid?

Send it now. They won't even look at it for several days, and your payment will move to PAID as soon as your bank processes it, which will take two business days or so.

SEND IT asap!!!! Without that they won't invoice the IV bill! It'll take 1-2 weeks for that to show up.

Make sure you put the correct subject line on your e-mail (case number and beneficiary's name) as the example states!

I didn't do a DS-3032. Because I'm in Canada I have to do online forms. So my DS-261 is your DS-3032. It takes about week or two for the DS-3032 to be accepted.

You can pay the invoices as soon as they show up on the payment portal online.
