You were told to take action immediately. That was not done. Issuing the EAD does not mean the green card has been issued yet, but I would make sure there are notarized letters withdrawing the affidavit of support headed to the local office, the regional office, and ICE.

Yes... All notarized letter on the withdrawal of i864 and i130 were received by the local office during the infopass appointment. Will followed by the letter to ICE.. Have a question why delaying to send the letter to Ice. What if ICE caught him and my friend are unable to get the divorce paper sign by him on time?? Any advice on this? Also at present he is legally here because haven't receive the confirmation withdrawal letter from the USCIS.

Update:

Went to USCIS submitted the withdrawal of I864 and I-130. The officer said it takes up to 30 days to update it. Did not meet with the ICE shift supervisor instead got the correspondence address for the report.

Your friend should have stayed in the building until the ICE Shift supervisor came out in to the common area .

Sorry. Your friend took a 'fork in the path' and decided to do something else.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

Just came to know that Employment Authorization card ordered. What are we going to do now????? USCIS takes 30 days to update the withdrawal。

Everybody told you in APRIL to move, not to postpone to "next week, next month" - you can only hope he needs an interview.

Wonder if they ask the citizen for identification.

Thanks for letting us know.

If it is delivered to her residence because he forgot to change his address or whatever, and he is no longer living there, she can return it to sender with the notation "no longer at this address". She can also put the envelope (without opening it) in another envelope along with a copy of her withdrawal and a letter if she likes stating she is withdrawing her I-864 due to fraud and that he no longer resides at this address.

There is nothing illegal about that. She cannot check his mail box. It is only if it is delivered to HER residence/mail facility then she has the right to return it, she does not need to give it to him (it is improperly address mail) but she cannot destroy it or throw it out. Redirecting it or returning it to sender is perfectly legal

Agreed

Seems feasible. However she may be caught on a technicality. :)
