I just saw some idiots camped out in front of Best Buy waiting for it. I don't think anything could warrant me to wait out in the cold for hours. But I did wait out in the brutal heat for HOURS when I attended my hubster's visa interview. Now THAT was well worth it!

Yeah if my kid wanted one of those for Christmas I think Santa would have to leave a note to say you haven't been that good this year. LOL

I haven't kept up with the consoles. I always had my PC set up with the fastest and best when I was gaming. I wonder how this one rates next to a high end PC?

The Cell processor in the PS3 is new technology, but I saw the display model today - the graphical resolution and frame rate is certainly equal to a high end PC.

There are no PC games that utilise more than 256mb of video memory.

Basically - its state of the art.
