The thing is that i am trying to be there for my husbands interview just for support u know. so i was wondering about much time is it from the time you mail off the AOS and IV till the interview date???

Actually it was 2.5 months between our case complete, 1/3/13, and interview, 3/13/13. We were notified of the date at the end of January, 1.5 months before the interview. I don't remember exactly when we sent in the DS-230, I think 2-3 weeks before the case complete.

It all depends on whether or not you get a checklist for something. We got a checklist and that added a month onto the time for a case complete, which we only just got today. It also depends on how many spots they have, from what I can see. Two people got case completes for Morocco on 3/13, and one ended up with a 4/31 interview and the other, a 5/20 interview.

Speaking for myself, I had a case complete a few weeks after some others going to CASA and they already were given an interview date, when we were given a date it was an earlier date than them. Your priority date must play a part in how they schedule. Seeing as you have been waiting FOREVER for your NOA2, I believe your interview date will be given pretty quickly. Time will tell. Take a look at my timeline, I didn't have any checklists and each time I was invoiced, I over-nighted what was needed to NVC. I would say that it takes about 2 months to get through NVC if there are no problems.

you can check this out on the nvc web site and look under visa bullintins. they say how it goes, but yes the priority date seems to be how they do it once they get all the docs from you and fees.
