i cannot believe CSC is apprving all these december filers. What's up with jult, august sept and october? Does anyone knows whats going on?

Fiddling the figures is what's going on. Getting processing times to closer to national goal of 5 months by processing petitions that are at 4 months and ignoring the 6-9 month old ones.

It stinks!

I have to second that one. Mamichou is not being negative, I would call that being upset with the system that is clearly screwed up somehow. There is so many July, August and September filers who are waiting for any kind of response on their petitions and seeing approvals from December makes us all wonder what is going on and whether our petitions had gotten lost somewhere in CSC.

I, for one, am at a point where I am not even bothering reading most of the posts or checking the status else I would have to go completely insane since I cannot do anything to change the situation.

I am sorry Mamichou, I know how you and most of us are feeling right now. Hopefully, something will move along eventually and we were not forgotten :) Good luck to you and everyone else. Let's try to keep our spirits up as difficult as it may be....

No matter what is going with CSC but they are approving petitions at the higher rate than usual. For most of us, especially post-December filers, it's an excellent sign. For black hole people it is outrageous. Overall - they are working hard on I-129F's and this is good.

That's pretty good news! Let us know if it keeps up, and I hope yours comes soon!

Ok, after seeing your post, I started looking at those July 17th filers and I found this:

- on 15 April: 5 approvals and 11 RFE's

- on 12 April: 2 approvals and 2 RFE's

- 20 receipts # still waiting to be adjudicated

Could this be that they are starting to work on the July filers? I hope so....

that's the most encouraging thing I have heard in months

Yes, I agree.

And not only that, it is about the only time they seem to be actually "working on cases at or before July 18".

What a bunch of complaining negative people on here. Just wait, you're time will come. Mamichou's posts are notorious for this. His profile icon alone says it all

Wow. Just once when someone has the nerve to talk about complaining negative people, I'd like to see a timeline with an NOA2 wait of at least 7 months or more.

And on a personal note, as someone with an NOA1 date two months before you, as well as the OP, please have a bit of respect and empathy (I'm being really really nice, holding myself back from telling you what I really want to.). I know that you had nothing to do with your NOA2 date, but how dare you?! You have a bit of good fortune, so you have the nerve to rub it in the faces of those whom you were lucky enough to be able to jump ahead of in line by telling them they should shut their mouths and not complain?!

One thing for sure, whenver my NOA2 comes, regardless of if it's next month or next year (pray to God sooner than that), I'm not going to be like that, I'm going to be on here with words of encouragement for those who are still stuck in the CSC black hole, and I will not fall to your level of inconsideration.

You like to work the numbers on the USCIS website. Seen anything similar? Maybe something around August 6th since there were 2 of those yesterday?

Do you see any evidence that they are working a block of applications at the beginning of the line?

That is very true. The problem I have seen is there is no actual oversight other than the president. Who in turn is not a help either. I would love to work in a place where I could do what I want and no one to say otherwise. Must be a dream, then in turn lie to people daily.
