We paid the the AOS and was already marked paid on the NVC page, and i believe that what follows should be getting an IV invoice...how long does is usually take for it to come to us, (email or letter on hand)?

Many thanks VJ friends :)

Before your IV bill can be invoiced, you have to send them the email format for the DS3032. That takes anywhere from 10 - 14 days to get accepted. After you get that acceptance email, it takes a day or two for the IV to invoice.

It takes 1 to two weeks from the time you submit the Designation of Agent letter, to when you are able to make IV payment.

In my case I was not told to make IV payment, I had to keep checking the payment portal for when the IV payment function was enabled.

Case to case basis, ready all the requirements and pay as early as you can when you receive the invoice. We finished AOS and DS3032 together. My NOA 2 is March 18 and we just finished IV Bill. We sent the DS230 after paying the bill. My husband calls NVC and follow up on our papers whenever we send and expect an invoice. We are done with invoices and bills in less than a month. We are only waiting to finish at NVC level.

Thanks, everyone, I was about to post and whine that I had no IV bill and that they received the AOS package last Thursday and still don't show it in the system. I am rattled after the long wait for the case to even get to NVC (five weeks after NOA2) and disgusted by the fact that we got assigned the wrong case number and spoiled by the pace of things once it actually got sorted. Not to mention I had to call on my Senator's staff TWICE to get things unstuck. I guess I can hold my water for a few more days ;)

I'm going to whine anyway. Hold your ears. :crying: :crying: :crying: :crying: :crying: :crying: :innocent:

You'll get another response, saying that they've received the information or updated your case file or something to that extent. You just sent it last week, so expect another few days before it gets accepted.

It'l come! I promise. I sat there for 3 days in the online forms page clicking "pay it" and not being able to pay it in the payment portal. LOL Talk about FRUSTRATING! Thankfully I didn't have to change interview locations or have the USCIS lose my file though, so You're certainly ahead on the "bullcrap" so whine away! I'll listen. :D

The bill comes up to 24 hours before the payment portal lets you pay. When you pay online, the site has a link to instructions.
