Hi All,

I have my citizenship oath ceremony tomorrow and I've been reading that you should wait ~10 days before going to the SSA to re-register as a citizen as it takes that long for the USCIS to update the system. I was wondering, is there a similar recommended delay for filing an I-130 to bring a parent out? I'm planning on doing this for my mum, and have everything ready to go but I don't want to be too eager and end up waiting longer because my paperwork gets put in the wrong pile or something.

Thanks!

I wouldn't think there would be any reason to delay.
