Paying Immigrant Fee but missing Information

After doing everything right how I did I mess up this last step?!?!? I was planning on paying the Immigrant Fee today after I got paid, but the immigration officer collected the Immigrant Data Summary sheet with the packet during Point of Entry and I didn't save the information. I assumed we kept it all and didn't even think to ask during POE. Now I'm missing the A-number and the Case number to pay the $165 Immigration Fee.

I've called the US Consulate in the Dominican Republic and they said my husband has to go there to get the information, but he is here in the US with me. I also called the NVC and the USCIS and they did not have access to this information.

Has anyone else dealt with problem??? Where else can I find these numbers??? PLEASE HELP. With out this he can't get his resident card and the last thing I want to do is send him back to the DR to get 2 numbers.

I was under the impression that the A number was on the actual visa printed in his passport, and the case number you should already have from before. Somebody correct me if I'm wrong, but you should have everything you need already.

USC who lived in Manabí, Ecuador with hubby from 2009 - 2013. Hubby became a naturalized American citizen in August 2016. Currently living together in northern Virginia.

A number should be in the passport, and as far as the case number, did he get emails etc from the nvc phase?

10/10/07 - I-129F sent to VSC

04/30/08 - POE Newark

07/06/08 - Wedding..... I'm Married Yall!!!

I130 for Minor Child

7/26/12 - Sent to Chicago Lockbox

7/30/12 - Priority date

3/15/13 - NOA2!!!!!!!

3/25/13 - NVC received my case

4/08/13 - Emailed ds3032 template

4/09/13 - NVC case number and IIN number generated

4/11/13 - aos fee bill invoiced/paid/and pkg sent

4/12/13 - aos fee paid again after being rejected/ds3032 resent and accepted

4/15/13 - aos pkg delivered/iv bill invoiced and paid

4/16/13 - iv pkg sent express mail/ aos status changed to paid

4/17/13 - iv pkg delivered/ iv status changed to paid.

4/29/13 - Case Complete!

5/10/13 - Interview notice emailed.

6/05/13 - INTERVIEW

I have the NVC case number but on the passport its the same + "01" so I wasn't sure which one to use to pay the fee. On his passport there is only a registration number but it doesn't have an A in front of it. Is it the same as a A-number??

Yes, it is on the NOA2 and the case number is on the interview letter. When you call you are not actually speaking with someone in the Consulate only customer service that is why their information is so limited when you call. Calling the DOS number listed above they will be able to give that information with your USCIS case number.

Pay it after the visa is issued. You have to pay it in order for the green card to be issued.

You've got both numbers on your husband's visa! The NVC case # is the one on the vase without "01" and the A # and registeration is the same thing.

The visa in your passport has both numbers. Don't include the 01 in your case number, just use the same format as you had through the rest of the process.
