Dear ALL my friends I really need yours help with my case ...it's almost 3 months, and 19 days that my case is under AP ... very tired of this process anyway I have 2 questions I would like to know the answers ??? with my case US KBL embassy they're only updating my case date when I sent them email after they replied then I can see they update my case date ???? confused ???

Second I have my friend case number as well .. whenever I'm checking his case statue , it's also showing AP but with his case they're updating his case date + case status as below :

Hello,

Don't worry the AP takes really long time. for some people it takes 6 months for some 8 and for some almost 1 year. In my case it took almost 7 months after the interview and everything i would check it said AP. So don't worry it will happen but it takes time.

Did the consular office give you a 221(g) note? Did the note have comments that the officer typed in?

He didn't comment , he just give me 221g yellow card also he said that after 2 weeks they will call me to bring my passport for visa .... even I asked him that everything is alright , he said yes only we have some internal admin process here once finished we will call you in 2 weeks

Sounds like very good news and hope that you can come back and update your issued visa.

I understand it is too hard to wait but nothing we can do I

Yeah I know , it's extremely hard to believe when this process will be finished anyway ALL Z Well Allah is great .. Insh'Allah soon we will get our visas .. just patient & wait wait wait for ur time .. also let me know what was the issue with your case !!????? they said anything at the time interview ??

The officer didn't say anything to him just he said every thing is ok u don't need for a second interview just wait we will contact u when ur visa is ready for pick up and we are just waiting for that day to come

I really hope your case gets approved soon. I have some disappointing news. My fiancé went to pick up the visa and he waited there for 3 hours. One of the men said that he doesn't know what happened. The visa was ready and now he doesn't know what happened. After the 3 hours the man told him that the person you interviewed him said the visa is not ready, we will call you in one week, two weeks, or maybe a month. I called the Department of State in DC and a lady told me that our case was still under A.P. I explained the situation and told her that they called him twice saying that the visa was ready to be picked up. She said there is a problem with the "check visa status" website, and that it is showing visas as "issued" when they are not. Needless to say, I was expected to get a call from my fiancé telling me when he will be arriving in the states. Instead, I got this disappointing news. I couldn't stop crying for two days. Now, I have accepted the situation again, and will continue to be patient and pray. Good luck to everyone, and do not celebrate until they have the visa in their hand.

Salaam , ohh noo why I thought ur fiance already got visa ... what to say they're playing with everyone like this .. Bia khair basha don't worry Insh'allah everything will be alright year u r RIGHT until we didn't get visa in hand , never trust when they mentioned ur visa is issued !!!

hi everyone hopefully you guys get your visa approved soon. Not to hijack the thread of anything but for the people who are in AP is the beneficiary male in all of your cases or

is there any females in AP too? The reason i am asking is my wife is having her interview in 3 days and i heard females don't get put in AP as often.

both boys/girl r going under AP ,,, so tell us how was ur wife's interview I hope passed it successfully without AP Insh'ALLAH ...
