I'm getting ready to call the CSC regarding my case, its been exactly 6 month and 1 week since my NOA1... I'll post an update with the results (positive I Hope, Fingers Crossed)When I'm done.

I'm going to ask for a Tier 2 Officer.

Talk with a firm respect and manner way.

I'm going to explain how they have been saying processing July 18th for the past 4 month, while November & December Petitions have been getting approved in the past two weeks.

Explain also the emotional stress My Fiance and I are going through regarding this long wait and that we have no clue on how to plan and or make wedding arrangement, due to no date given for anything.

Ask for a service request.

I doubt you'll be able to put a service request, but then again, everything is possible.

Let us know what they tell you

Just curious, but how were you able to call CSC? I had no idea they had a public phone number. Everytime my fiancé called USCIS back then, he had to call the USCIS Customer Service Number.

One thing I would worry about filing a service request right now, is if (a big if) the processing date actually changes from the bogus July 18 to a date after your NOA 1, since you got the request one before the change, your case was within the current processing times at the time, and you wont be able to file a new service request for X days.

Not saying you shouldn't try, but just a warning.

6 months and 3 weeks here and still no NOA2...My fiance tried to call the USCIS but the same story..They are processing July 18,2012. But sadly, I saw some of NOv-Dec. who was approved last week..So unfair! But still patiently waiting and we know that god is hearing our prayers that he will give us soon for what we wanted. Keep praying and have more patience. god bless. Praying we will get the NOA2 soon.

I have personally called CSC multiple times; spoken to 7 different Tier 1 reps and 1 Tier 2 rep. They are still stating the July 18, 2012 processing date, they have no answer to why Nov/Dec petitions are being processed, and they will not file a service request since it is within there "posted" processing timelines

https://petitions.whitehouse.gov/petitions

we need to change the law and make it mandatory that these are processed timely

I Filed a DHS-7001 through Ombudsman - Case Assistance, they don't verify if you actually called. I'm hoping to get an answer with 10 days as stated on their link.

there is now way I' m going to be put on hold wasting my time to hear the lame excuse "we are working on July 18th" and for a hope of a service request, then wait 30 days for response which I doubt I will even get, and then email the CSC follow up and wait 21 more days before filing the Ombudsman online e-request.

Calling the 800 number and talking to ANYONE there, Tier 1, Tier 2, whatever, will not help at all, they have all the same information you have access to. The only thing they can help you with is an expedite request, or a service request. You can't ask for a service request until you are past their posted processing times of 7.5 months, I went through this with them for ages and can tell you from experience.

Tier 2 has no more information than you have.

How is this bad news? 10 days is certainly a lot better than 45 days?

email said 45 days instead of 10 days like stated on the website... sorry for the confusion

I feel bad for October and September filers, those seemed to have been put in a black hole :help:

I think it would be more accurate to say mid July to mid November filers in the black hole while CSC brings it's processing times closer to the USCIS national goal of 5 months. Unfair? Definately!
