Hi all,

just a small question to anybody who received by email an advise

saying that it was mailed a notice requesting additional evidence:

if you want to find out what the RFE is about in advance by calling the

# 800 375 5283, do u know after dialing this # what option to press?

Although I'm calling from California the number says to call from 8am to 6 pm from Monday through Friday, any idea where this #is located? Because if I call from California, and for sure they are in the Midwest or in the East Cost, is already 8am there, why the message says so?

Any replies/info/advise is very very welcome, thanks again!!!!!!

The 1800 number cannot tell you anything new other than what it says on your online case status. Basically, they'll tell you you have an RFE coming. As far as I know you can only find out RFE contents by making an Infopass appointment and you should only do this if its been more than 30 days since you were told you had one coming and it has not yet arrived in the mail.

Oh ok, then I guess I have to wait because I got the email only today, and they say in the email that

on the 15th of Nov they sent me the notice by mail. So I will wait then. I dont wanna waist my time trying to call someone who tells you nothing new.

Thanks alot!!!!!!

We tried calling to see if we could gather what they needed and they could only read the info that was in the email.

You may as well just wait fo the notice, it seems like it takes forever. but thats the USCIS

Thank you guys for all yr messages, it's just that if they ask for something that they already have.......

it sounds like that they need to do so in order (at least) to show that they are working........if it's really like that, it is very SAD!!!! and besides that they are making us waisting time & money.........totally unfair if it is like that.....but unfortunately I have already read that, I mean that they ask for RFE of docs that they have already in their hands.................. no good at all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
