Life Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness?

Just wondering what Islam decrees as the appropriate punishment.

What are you babbling about ? Why don't you ask yourself what Judaism decrees as the appropriate punishment for a car accident that is still under investigation - does it prescribe the abduction, abuse and torture of Palestinian children, to force confessions out of them ? It would make about as much sense as your post.

You posted the story.

Is the girl still alive?

Sounded like they expected that she would not survive.

To be fair the account said critically injured which I believe is that you are likely to die within 24 hours.

No. It means that a patient has injuries that are serious enough to require him/her to be in the critical care or intensive care unit. It can mean that a patient is at high risk of dying, or it can mean that a patient's injuries are severe but not necessarily life-threatening.

The little girl in this incident is not dead; at least not in the last update I could find on her case which was May 10. As of then, she was still the hospital, still anesthetized, but doctors said her condition was improving. And I pray that she fully recovers - she's just a little girl. It's not her fault that her parents took her into a war zone in a foreign country to live in an illegal settlement on stolen Palestinian land.

If you really gave a rat's azz about this little girl, you would have looked it up yourself.

Looked it up:

Critical means that you need care in an intensive care or critical care unit and have a high chance of dying within the next 24 hours. Terms such as critical, serious, stable or satisfactory are mostly for the benefit of the media and doctors in hospitals do not actually use these terms especially when dealing with the relatives. Doctors usually use medical terminology when discussing the patient with other medical staff. As doctors are not allowed to discuss a patients medical details with the media they use terms such as critical. Hope this helps...

Good to hear that she survived, Please keep the thread updates with her progress.

Is a full recovery likely?

I don't know. None of the articles on her give any info about specifically what her injuries are, or what her prognosis is.

We don't even afford due process to our own citizens and we go as far as droning them to oblivion.

So why should other countries treat us better?

I love it when people respond without bothering to read the thread.

I love it when people respond without bothering to read the thread.

Or knee jerkers that don't have the IQ to recognize that sometimes parralel conversations occur on the same thread and the wherewithall to separate those.

Even reading the thread title would be nice.

Or coming up with a well formed response instead of just sucking up to the closest spinchter.

Ooo someone got his feelings hurt :(

You can avoid such a faux pas in the future if you'll just read the topic first - it's not so difficult, is it ?

By who? You? rofl.gifrofl.gifrofl.gif

Keep trying. And next time, try to come up with credible responses. Unless of course you're barely post teen.

Reading my posts on this forum requires a deep thought process, obviously something that you lack.

Can't you come up with anything that's not just a bunch of childish insults ?

Your posts in here so far have ranged from clueless to puerile. But keep trying to convince yourself otherwise.... cuz you ain't convincing anyone else.

Perhaps you should do a self reflection before you use words like puerele. Your incoherent rambling and self gloat dictates that you lack decorum.

This is a video from occupied Hebron in the West Bank, where you see a group of Israeli children (these are children of illegal Israeli settlers who have siezed areas of the city) harrassing a group of Palestinian children who are trying to walk to their school. Tthe Palestinian children are accompanied by several adults and some internationals, who are trying to give them some semblance of protection from this harrassment and even assaults, which occur almost every day.

At about 2:45 into the video, you will see a group of settler children throwing stones at the Palestinian children, as Israeli soldiers stand by and do nothing. Although there are clearly witnesses and even video evidence, none of these Jewish stone-throwers were ever arrested, or even discouraged from throwing stones at Palestinians.

I guess you can't.

I can't what.

Were you not the halfwit that started by commenting on my original post? You're really clueless and this is really scary. I bet you can vote and you pilot a motorcar.

When did it becoem the Isreali Armys job to protect Palestenians?

The same lame brain ideology can then be used that USCIS Border Agents should stop the local US militia at the Arizona/New Mexico borders.

Is it morally wrong for the Israeli Army to stand by and watch alleged attrocities being commited? Perhaps, but that is not there primary role.

Wwe can have a dialogue as long as you don't try to force me to only see your point of view by attemtping thinkly veiled ridicule.
