Freaking out here a little . .. photo ID issue (maybe?)

Just flew from Maui to Oahu ( husbands on a plane meeting me at hotel.)

I have my passport for phto ID, maiden name, but forgot my EAD card married name!

Do I need this? The letter did not specify bring photo ID maiden or married..

Doesn't even ask for EAD.

I am frustrated and mad at myself for forgetting. My husband even reminded me to bring photo ID in my married name, to check into the hotel which, was embarrassing because I forgot that but I got into the room okay.

I can't tell my husband,. He'll be here in 3 hours.

Please ...please help.

Holding back my fears. Tears of frustation close.

Lack of sleep, excited to see hubby (its been over a month).

But this ####### put a big damper on things.

Trying to remain calm... and its raining.

I need a rainbow right about now.

Boo

You don't need an ID in your married name at all. You do need your marriage certificate. That will be considered a "valid name change document."

They do ask for the EAD though, it says to bring all documentation you have received from USCIS. It;s probably not a big deal though. Consider putting card-sized things in your wallet so you always have them.

Good luck and don't panic.

They do ask for it on the NOA.

On the 2nd NOA (we rescheduled) iwas more specific and didn't list the EAD.

It is was it is. Majority say no worries. I forgot, can't change that.

I've got all the other documents/originals. I was more focused on getting that right I guess.

We're doing this!

Thanks for your reply.
