Seeing as the VJ veterans here seem to tell us to wait and not call the service centers, I am suggesting this:

If this date range has passed or your application is past due per USCIS processing times then you should consider calling the USCIS to inquire on your petition. If you have been approved please update your timeline.

be changed to this:

If this date range has passed or your application is past due per USCIS processing times, stop complaining and wait your turn. Tough luck. Suck it up. You should instead take this time to do all the things you need to prepare for the next steps, since you obviously have not done so in the <Days since NOA1> days you have been waiting so far. If you have been approved please update your timeline.

I think not.

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”
