Hi all I still have to comply the copy & birth certificate of my 8months baby & perhaps waiting for the issuance of her passport nxt month. It is still possible to be scheduled for an interview since my pd is past date with the current bulletin? Or i will not recived IL until they receive my daugther's passport details?

The norm is, a beneficiary (and its derivative child) will only qualify for an interview schedule if:

a.) They are already case complete at the NVC stage AND

b.) Their priority date is current

But right now, some F2A beneficiaries are not yet given interview schedules because it seems that NVC is having a hard time squeezing them in with those whose PD recently became current. Many F2A people are case complete and their PD are past due already but still waiting for an interview schedule from NVC.

Waiting for that interview letter can be anywhere from 3-4 months. Hopefully NVC will fix this soon. Waiting sucks!

My wife just called USCIS on Friday and setup a service request and they asked to wait for 2 weeks in order to get a decision....hopefully it is approved

I am sure that they meant 2weeks to answer her service request. no for an decision about your case. But I hope you get your approval soon

They cannot give you a definite answer until they have actually opened and reviewed your i-130 package.

Their response could be: an approval, an RFE or you have to wait another x days until they reach a decision.

Uscis answer service request in a couple of days so you should get email by wed and probably you gonna get this answer...

"Your case is currently being adjudicated. You should receive a notice of action* within 45 days"

I received that twice!! they don't really care about if you are waiting for so long time and your case is out of normal processing time!! They dont have first come first served rule no more. You gotta have have 2 things to get your noa2 luck or honorable congrassman

Hi guys,

I called USCIS on Wednesday. They give me referral number and was told to wait 30 days for ripely. My congressman did nothing, are now two weeks and no one has call. I do not know whether to call USCIS again or wait a few days ?
