can i ask if the noa2 is the I-130 approval letter that the uscis sent me?

Yes, it is also the i-797 form.

My wife's PD is Feb 20, 2012 and Service center is CSC. I have not heard anything yet from USCIS. Its been more than a year I have not seen her, I am dying little by little everyday. Don't know when her petition gonna approve and when I can see her.

Wife's CR1 Visa Journey:

Feb 17, 2012: Mailed I-130 Petition.

Feb 20, 2012: Received NOA 1 ( Priority Date Feb 18, 2012).

July 12, 2013: Requested USCIS to Upgrade petition from F2A to CR1.

July 27, 2013: USCIS sent confirmation email regarding upgrade.

August 02, 2013: NOA 2 Received.

August 12, 2013: NVC Received the Petition

August 29, 2013: NVC Assigned the Case Number

September 4, 2013: AOS Bill Invoiced.

September 4, 2013: NVC requested to fill DS-261 via email.

September 4, 2013: Filed DS-261 online.

September 4, 2013: Paid AOS bill online.

September 6, 2013: NVC Accepted AOS bill payment.

September 6, 2013: Mailed I-864Ez to NVC

September 11, 2013: NVC Entered AOS Documents into their system for Review ( NVC Says it may take 30 business days to review)

September 16, 2013: IV Bill Invoiced.

September 16, 2013: IV Bill Paid.

September 17, 2013: NVC Accepted IV Bill Payment.

September 19, 2013: Filed DS-260 Online

September 20, 2013: Mailed Civil Documents for IV application

September 23 ,2013 : NVC Entered Civil Documents into their system for Review ( NVC Says it may take 30 business days to review)

October 1, 2013 : NVC Accepted AOS. smile.png

Hi everyone!,

Just wanted to share this link to everybody that my wife found. In this link it explains how the Visa Offices handle priority dates. it's a very informative material in fact all benificiary with Priority dates between Oct8 and Oct14 are now CURRENT.

My Wife's PD is Oct13 so hopefully she get hers completed really soon... I really missed my Wife and my two boys.....

That dont mean anything singjay my pd is sep 21 2011 still waiting for noa2. I called uscis to fill inquiry last friday bcos my case is out of normal processing time but when i checked my case status today they updated my adress and i didnt even change my address . idk what is going on! Im lost

when they say they have updated your address, later today or tomorrow comes your approval, that has happened in many cases

I agree with America, it looks like your NOA2 is on its way!

4 August 2011: I-130 sent (while husband permanent resident)
8 August 2011: Priority date
16 April 2013: NOA2

NVC:

7 May 2013: Case number received, DS-3032 sent

15 May 2013: AOS bill received and paid

16 May 2013: AOS package sent

17 May 2013: DS-3032 accepted

20 May 2013: IV bill received and paid

21 May 2013: IV package sent

11 June 2013: response to IV checklist sent

13 June 2013: Case upgraded to CR1

2 July 2013: Case completed

28 August 2013: Interview - approved!

21 September 2013: POE

18 November 2013: Green card received

My husband's citizenship journey:

8 February 2013: N-400 sent
4 March 2013: Biometrics
24 April 2013: Interview

07/11/2017-- Interview

I am really sad because I don't have nothing of NOA2 yet.
My husband called to USCIS today, and they say that we must to wait 9 months more.
I can't understand anything, I am feel so sad and sick of be on this waiting.
I don't know that we can do, I'm on the verge of a nervous breakdown.
I need to be with my husband and I miss him so much. I AM SO SAD!!!

Priority Date 10/28/2011.
07/26/2013-- NOA2 TEXT/EMAIL. (After 21 months waiting)
07/29/2013-- NOA2 Hard Copy received.

NVC PROCESS

08/05/2013 - NVC received our case

08/21/2013 - Case number and invoice number assigned

08/21/2013 - Sent DS3032 by email

08/23/2013 - Received AOS fee invoice by email. Paid AOS fee $88

08/23/2013 - Received IV fee invoice by email. Paid IV fee $230

08/26/2013 - AOS and IV Package sent to NVC

08/27/2013 - AOS & IV fee shows paid on the website payment.

08/28/2013 - AOS and IV packages arrived at NVC at morning

09/03/2013 - DS-260 Already was filled online

09/23/2013 - IV Package was approved.

09/24/2013 - Case Completed

10/28/2013 - IL Received

11/18/2013 - Medical Appointment. done

12/10/2013 - Interview at the U.S. Embassy El Salvador
