jijichan - you referenced a list of professions, but did not list the professions.

What's the professions you are chasing after ?

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

I signed it. :)

One thing I am concerned about, however, is the language of the petition. It really doesn't explain what I-129F petitions are, so, unfortunately, only those who already know what it is, and the ramifications of this backup, will probably sign it. A lot of people will be hesitant to sign a petition related to speeding up anything related to immigration, because they will be thinking about illegal aliens and worried it has something to do with letting more illegal aliens in.

If this one fails and a new petition is written up, perhaps provide some background information in the description. Address people who may not be completely familiar with what it is and tell them why this is important and why they should sign it. What are I-129F petitions for? What are the ramifications of these delays? Why should the processing of this particular kind of petition be speeded up? These questions should be answered in the description.

you are probably correct on all of that...they do limit space on these petitions so that has to be a consideration...still if all who visit this site were to spread the word most here do know...even if just those who are I129F petitioners were to sign, past, present and future....still early...have posted and will post daily comments on the Obama facebook page...facebook founders page...one of paypals founders immigrated here also...

We can protest all we want if it makes us feel better, but we shouldn't expect results. In addition, it's not USCIS's fault. One man devised the DACA program and ordered it to be implemented as a political priority, to take precedence over every other kind of petition. Everyone beneath him, including USCIS, was required to comply. If you're displeased, consider directing your displeasure toward the one man, and because he isn't up for re-election in 2014, consider making your vote count in reference to those in Congress who support him and ARE up for re-election.

(Organizer hat on)

*** Thread moved from K-1 Process forum to General Immigration Discussion -- topic is not a K-1 process issue. ***

I absoltely agree!! Hopefully this experience will stick with people when it comes time to vote, remember which party is in support of big government.

If you're not sure which party that is it's the one that has a jackass as their mascot!

Lets just try to post it to other threats and encourage people to sign it? This way we don't miss the VJ's that only log in once in a while.

storminnorman that is why I created this topic so we could discuss and plane how we can achieve 100,000 signatures for this petition or if this one fails to execute another one with a lot of forethought.

if you visit this page even if you have not much to say and this is affecting you post something to keep this on the front page.
