Ok new here! I got my rfe.

Very specific. The 7 point list of psychologist or counsellor evaluation. I had send them a letter from the centre in which they explain the purpose and future follow up. Now

Does this mean that the rest of the evidence was acceptable to the eyes of the adjudicator? And that he only needs this to complete the cas?

They still can send you RFE asking to prove bonafide marriage, and it depends what your evaluation will state they may accept or not your evaluation as a proof that you were mentally abused. They are looking for a complete psychological evaluation. The psychologist should state if you are suffering from depression, pos traumatic disorder, anxiety and if you are taking medications. The letter from the center is not a psychological evaluation,probably was issued by a social worker or by a counselor, not by a psychologist.Find a place with free therapy go at least for 4/5 sessions of therapy and then ask the psychologist to give you a complete psychological evaluation. Thanks Sandra. Well I have been going to therapy after the letter was sent. About 6 sessions and follow up phone calls. The bonafide marriage. I presented joint accounts, rental lease, mail to the same adress pictures medical and school bills. Affidavit of my landlord. Pictures of destroyed furniture. Details about the development of the abuse in a chrnological fashion. So ur saying the might be just a warm up to ask me more stuff.

nicakid until final adjudication they can ask what they want, many people get RFE to prove violence and after a while get other RFE to prove bonafide marriage,it happens often, but there are some cases they don't send a single RFE.Ask your psychologist to perform a psychological evaluation and then you should submit to vawa Unit.Please ask your psychologist a descent evaluation I saw some evaluations drafted in 1/2 pages and others 7/10 pages.Ask her a GOOD ONE,lol. A great one the psychologist described not just your mood in the therapy and about what happened with you, but they describe if you look like taking care of yourself, if you shaved, if your clothes were clean,if your speech was clear, if you look healthy or if you showed up there like a mess , if you were neatly dressed, if you were very polite,pleasant and cooperative. Mention if you suffer from poor sleep throughout the night and wake up frequently, if you are not eating properly, if you lost weight, if you don't want to socialize anymore.

The psychologist should describe how you described yourself BEFORE the abuse and now she describes how she sees you after the abuse, it's VERY important for VAWA Unit to know how was your life before the abuse and after the abuse, some psychologist don't mention that and it's damn important. If you were outgoing, bubbling, full of life and now you are depressed, you don't trust to be around people anymore, etc.. If she states that you are suffering anxiety she must explain saying for example anxiety is characterized by persistent,excessive,unrealistic uncontrollable worry about every day life activities, if she says you are suffering pos traumatic disorder she has to explain.Ask her to administer BPI test (The burn depression inventory)and the BAI(The burn anxiety inventory)and to give you a "multi-axial assessment".
