Ok I don't know if it's because I'm pregnant but I took one look at the ketchup cake recipe and nearly became ill. UGH! Does not belong in cake!

I don't eat that much ketchup. I only eat it on the normal stuff : fries, hotdogs, burgers.... and on some tourtières (meat pies). My fiancé saw me putting ketchup on my meat pie one day and kiddingl

I remember my mum making Campbell’s Tomato Soup cake when I was little but I can’t remember for the life of me what it tasted like. She got diabetes when I was in grade 6 and the baking dwindled quickly after that.

I’m tempted to make the cake and bring most of it in to work. It looks so yummy.

RANT (or insane musing - whichever) I think that we should somehow get exercise points by reading articles on getting healthy. I’d be a beach babe already for sure ;)

And why can't Heinz make the right caps for the squeeze bottles in the USA? You know, in Canada they have a little rubber thing in the hole so the ketchup only comes out when it is squeezed. In the US there is no rubber thing and the ketchup just keeps coming out and get the cap all messy!!!

My mom used to make Tomato Soup cake as well! I don't have her recipe but the first one of these sounds close - it was a spice cake. She didn't use cream cheese frosting though - just white icing - and I always loved cream cheese frosting!

Don't knock it! I love ketchup with my Kraft Dinner (Haven't had Kraft Mac & Cheese)!!

Trick is to not mix it in. You gotta eat it on top of the Kraft Dinner.

I do not like Kraft Mac and Cheese. Like the commercial once said "Gotta be KD!". And I totally agree with just putting it on top and not mixing. I used to mix, but then discovered this way to be far more superior!
