Is this something that is recognized by the government as an official translation? What do you mean that you had to fax it to him? Is it not possible to email a pdf file? What is the man's name? Sorry so many questions... I just want to do it right. I am filing for a K-1.

I translated my own and got it notarized. You do not need it for the K1 but you do need it for the next steps, and for life. If you want the translated one I did, let me know and I'll send it to you as a link...

PS--I included a notarized Translator's statement with it too...

Hi again,

It's been a while since I've been online... a lot has happened. Now that we have our marriage certificate (after more than 2 1/2 months of waiting!!!), I am wondering if we need to have it signed by the ministry of foreign affairs before I turn it in to the USCIS? Can I send a copy in without these signatures for the time being to start the process, or should I have this completed first so it won't slow the process down? Please help! Thank you so much. I appreciate you all so much.

Hi,

Can you send me the link to translate my wife birth certificate, please?

Anyone fluent in both languages can do the translation. Whoever translates it just need to add this certification on the translated document > http://www.visajourney.com/content/translations
