Question regarding apporpiate visa type

Hi everyone, we are new here and new to the whole process.

I am an American citizen, but I've lived in Israel nearly all of my life. In 2 months I'm getting married to the love of my life. She is Israeli and has no other citizenship. We are planning to move to New York, where most of my family lives, after the marriage.

My main question is - what is the most appropriate visa? If it is a DCF visa, do I qualify as a sponsor, since I haven't been living in the U.S. or do financial and other conditions matter more? If it is a K1 visa, do we have to go to the U.S. & start the process before the wedding?

One thing I wasn't able to understand from the posts I read - is it possible to come to the U.S. and then get married and apply, while still in the U.S.?

Yeah one of the K visas. I think the K1 is the fiancee/fiance visa. You have to get married within the first three months of being in the US though. Look into DCF if you live in Isreal legally it's the fastest and probably the cheapest way.
