Hello;

I'm getting a bit disgusted. According to VisaJourney the last 15 k1's approved in California, have been 8 from December 2012, 5 from November, & one from July, & one from August. Wow!!, What's up with this. My Noah1 was 8-2-12. I can see them being bogged down, I can see them even coming to a stop, but what's up with December almost catching up with August on the chart. Do they have any sense of fairness, at all? I mean it's like if you were waiting in a line for something, & they just keep skipping you, & and call people way behind. Is there something wrong with all August, & July's applicants; that would be unreasonable. I don't mean it hast to be perfect etc. etc., but if you look at the chart, it's ridiculous.

Also the processing time is at 7-18-12. The only way you can get someone to call you, is if the processing time goes past your petition date. How is the 7-18-12, going to get to 8-2-12, if they don't do any July's, just mainly Decembers & Novembers?

Anyone know how they do this. The people on the phones, don't seem to have any information.

Thanks, for any iput;

The obvious answer is they don't care. Tough. Go somewhere else if you don't like it.

Except that they have monopoly.

There are a lot of December approvals. They are actively working on that block of applications.

That is why I'm saying they don't care. I'm not being cynical, it's a fact.

If I, some joe blow, can troll their website, and tell what application numbers they "should" be working on (July and later), a CSC employee/manager certainly can find what block of applications they "should" be working on. But they choose not to.

So, it's not DACA, it's not HB-1's, it's not the color of Bidens underwear...it's they JUST DON'T CARE.

It's called manipulating the data. Process some Oct, Dec, and change the average length of processing for their dashboards. Then all the politicians will see what a good job they are doing and won't have to help you when you contact them. A win win for everyone.......... Except the people who are waiting to be together.

Yeah, it's pretty ###### up.

I'm just wondering what they can possibly do to make it worse for the July-October filers. Because, I'm sure they will do it.

As to why?

Possible reasons:

1. By processing Nov-Dec petitions, it gets a lot of them within their 5 month goal. If they only processed starting with the oldest pettitions, it would take a while to get to their goal.

2. Spite. "Oh, so you're complaining about the wait. Well, how does seeing all these November-December approvals make you feel? In your face!"

3. Random. I discount this reason. It is not random. They are processing November-December applications en masse . Someone chose to do this, likely for reasons 1 and/or 2.

Any other possibilities? I'd like to hear the USCIS cheerleaders opinions on this.

It is kinda bs for those who have been waiting, I would be furious if I was a July-early nov csc filer. One thing, maybe it is possible k1 s were transferred to another place for processing to help csc catch up.

I doubt that any such transfer took place because I there have been no reported notifications of such transfers. Moreover, I'm at October CSC filer and this week I was able to change my address via the online tool and received confirmation in under two days without issue. If the petition was relocated or in transit, I doubt that would be possible.

From what I recall and see here is that K-1 has extended from about 6 months to 7.5 in the last 3 years. That is if the VJ stats are correct and all members fast and slow are participating. With having to refile for AOS, currently a less expensive way is to file married, if you are waiting 7.5 what is another couple of months and you arrive with a GC. Time will tell on the timelines, DACA might have affected some bit this will pass too.

In Arizona its hot hot hot.
