Because North Korea is apparently hellbent on bombing somebody, the country's state-run media organization Uriminzokkiri released a video today showing it would launch missiles at Honolulu, Los Angeles, Washington and, of course, Colorado Springs.

The only problem is that the country apparently thinks we're located somewhere in the South, reports the Washington Post. So, maybe don't run out to the bomb shelter quite yet.

"You can hear the narrator mention Colorado Springs at about 1 minute, 20 seconds into the video, as a scary-looking line is shown shooting out from North Korea and landing somewhere in the vicinity of Shreveport, La., a 900-mile drive southeast from the intended target," wrote Max Fisher.

yea may sound funny but! we are led to beleive that their rockets can not pinpoint and hit a target, so if if they do have one that can hit the mainland without being shot down first can still do damage, lets say they want to hit Colorado Sprngs and are off by one degree they might hit Denver, Salt Lake City, or Kansas City. so yea it is funny they dont know where Colorado Springs is at ! the thing is if they can hit anything on our mainland is a success to them !

Word... good point. A nuke cooking off anywhere U.S.A.or otherwise is not a good thing.

The only thing that Kim may be able to reach is the middle of the Pacific. And that's just the missile. He doesn't have a nuclear warhead yet that he can transport with said missile. He's all bark no bite.

All bark, no bite. Mr Big Dog. Get it?????

Thanks to Ronald Reagan we have missiles to shoot down his missiles so it is a moot point.

There will be no assault weapons ban, the ineffective NRA shut it right down

Ran across this visual of what Kim has available and what the reach of that stuff is. He's got NOTHING that can reach US mainland.

SCUD C - functional (~300 miles)

Rodong - functional (~800 miles)

Taepodong 1 - not successfully tested (~1550 miles)

Musudan - not known if functional (~2500 miles)

Taepodong 2 - one successful launch Dec 2012 (3800 miles)

-dong. Tapeodong. Not to be confused with ding dong. We all know that the witch is dead.

Ya know I really can't take a missle referred to as "dong" seriously. Not from the N Koreans.

Perhaps a more terrifying or clever nickname would trigger more interest or concern? Do they perhaps have a suggestion box?

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
