the smell of christmas trees!

:thumbs: ...and other smells (gingerbread, pumpkin, peppermint, and Santa's bad breath)

 are you kissing santa?

You never sat on Santa's lap as a child, Charles? That explains a lot. I'll bet you have an extensive collection of coal. :P

that was years ago, steven, and i don't recall if santa had bad breath or not. i took your remark above to be something you've recently discovered

and i've got enough coal to survive a new england winter

I really dislike Christmas. It is FAR too commercialised. This has ruined it for me completely. Putting up the decorations in November? Give me a break! :P

England is SO BAD! You guys put stuff up in October!!!!!!

Actually, the winner goes to a shop called "Wilkinson's". I walked in there at the end of September and they had put their decorations up. I mumbled some obscene comment to myself, which I won't repeat here, and promptly walked back out again.

It gets worse and worse each year and it just gets right on my t*ts.

Shoppers really DON'T need to see decorations up to know Christmas is coming. Happens every year. I think most of the general human population can remember that....

Bah Humbug!

I love Xmas...

I love the smell of fresh pine...

I love the decorations, lights...

I love the closeness of family during Christmas time (though again this year I will be away from my family)...

I just love that everyone seems happy around Christmas time...

Christmas...one of my favourite holidays. Both my parents passed on the same day in December seven years apart. I miss them like mad, as I have no family left now with the exception of my husband and my daughter. It is up to me to keep my parent's memory alive and their traditions going for my daughter. It's also going to be my first Christmas with my HUSBAND. We've shared other christmases, but this one will be special. :luv:
