We know. Muslims find it easy to get face time in the western press if they denounce Islam. Otherwise, no one cares. Somehow, the west is more comfortable acting on us than accepting that we can act for ourselves.

I don't think he meant he wants Muslims to speak out against Islam. Just against radicals killing in the name of Islam. Muslims should deplore this as much as Christians should deplore abortion clinic bombers. Or me and my druggie criminal cousin. Geez dude, get it together, you're messing with the family name. Ugh....

Defend Muslims. Defeat Radical Islamists. They are not the same.

I agree completely that at this point it's ridiculous to point the finger of blame at anyone for this apparent bombing.

Yes.. actually.. Just say this turns out to be some home grown branch of radical ignorant Christianity like Westboro etc.or European based.

I would hope every Christian in America would rise up a shout condemnation

All i was saying is that prehaps the majority of Muslims should be more vocal or maybe they are and don't get any face time.. Who knows..

You don't listen to Muslims anyway, so it's no wonder you have no clue what the majority of Muslims say. I mean really Nature - if it wasn't on Fox News, then it didn't happen ?

Anyway here's some more stuff you can ignore - I got many messages from Muslim-y friends today from Muslim-y countries expressing their shock and horror over today's bombings, and sending their condolences.

Wonder what he was doing that made someone tackle him. But now police are looking for a different suspect:

"Investigators warned police officers to be on the lookout for a "darker-skinned or black male" with a possible foreign accent in connection with the Marathon bombs, according to a law enforcement advisory obtained by CNN. The man was seen with a black backpack and sweatshirt and was trying to get into a restricted area about five minutes before the first explosion, the lookout notice states."

Turns out he wasn't doing anything. Trying to run away just like everyone else. Ruled out as a suspect.

THAT is islamophobia. DEF: Tackle the first brown-skinned middle eastern guy they see and turn 'em over to the police.

"They see him running away from the device," said Miller. "Now, a reasonable person would be running away. But this person had noticed him before. This is a civilian -- chases him down, tackles him, turns him over to the Boston police. The individual is being looked at [and] was suffering from burn injury. That means this person was pretty close to wherever this blast went off, but not so close as to suffer the serious injuries that other people did."

I was like ####### when they were saying he was suspicious because he "ran away from the explosion." Pretty much everybody else who could run away did the same.

I figured that out when I read it. Glad they got that out of the way.

I am not ashamed to admit I would be running away too, if I could and my wife and kids could too.
