NOA1 April 24th,2013 and no sign of NOA2 #######.... I just don't get it.

I see deltagal for example NOA1 April 29, and NOA2 Sept 30....more power to her, but this whole thing is not fair at all. Its sucks being powerless....

When did you file? You think it will get approved first?

I filed in early August. IDK if it will get approved first but i saw 130's were starting to slow down and the K3 were still at 5 months. Not to metion it was free to file for. Thats why I did it. If our 130 gets approved great, if not at least we have something else working. All it cost me was postage and a little time.

I filed in early August. IDK if it will get approved first but i saw 130's were starting to slow down and the K3 were still at 5 months. Not to metion it was free to file for. Thats why I did it. If our 130 gets approved great, if not at least we have something else working. All it cost me was postage and a little time.

Just remember, with the K-3 you will have to file for Adjustment of Status upon admission to the U.S. This will cost you $1070. The K-3 may be free to file but there are still fees to be paid as a result of filing it.

What they are saying basically is that filing the k3 would be useless at this point since they would reach the nvc at the same time and hence the i129f would be cancelled! Good for those who filed it long time ago though..;)

However, I really think the 11 months processing time is the max timeframe they are given to us... Not meaning that we would all wait 11 months.. I really believe we would see more approvals of April filers by the end of this month and the coming month inchallah :) that's how I see the whole situation myself :)

OMG! I wish could be as positive as you're. I'm in a point of the process that I just feel like crying all the time, I miss my husband and this wait just makes it worse.

He just bought "our (first) family car", he is bound to finish the purchase of our apartment and knowing I might not be there when he gets to move in in january just kills me... send a little of your positive energy to me please! LOL!

Its all a matter of opinion. I disagree that the K-3 is a waste of time...

If the K-3 brings attention to my I-130.... YAY ME.... They can't ignore it... it has to be routed like any other file.... so whatever happens ... happens. and I don't think my attorney is in the business of steering clients in the wrong direction... just sayin....

Love my Tico Iam sure your attorney is not misleading you! And I agree it is my opinion and I strongly believe in that! :) I pray that we get our approvals soon ;) and we move on to the nvc thread sooooon ;)

:) :) the two operators that my husband dealt with are what makes me positive ( they were super nice and said things that are most likely happening)

Yesterday the lady told him they are updating the nbc processing time soon... And that he should call back within a week... The first one urged him to call by the end of October if we didn't hear anything by then) ;) Iam holding to that !!!! :)

Yep, I was told by a tier 2 person about 3 weeks ago to expect something around HALLOWEEN.... to me, that is the end of Oct/early Nov.

That is what I am holding on to... I'll be in Costa Rica for Thanksgiving and the first week of Dec. I hope I will have some thing to celebrate while I am with my adorable husbandheart.gifheart.gif
