exactly why my lawyer had me file the K-3. We could be in for a long wait. K-3's are posted at 5 months.

LoveMyTico, As you know I'm filled for the K3 also. So 5 more weeks and I'll be at 5 months for that. I need to ask you where you see K-3's posted at 5 Months. I only seee that at the CSC not NBC. Also I have not yet found the 16.6 months for the I-130 so i dont know where others see that. Thank you

They updated the processing times today.

Check the service centers for the K-3 processing times. https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/processingTimesDisplay.do

Plus the 5 month processing time is what my lawyer stressed when he asked me to come in and sign the K-3 petition

I have yet to receive my NOA1 for my K-3. We included the email/text cover sheet but that doesn't mean anything. I didn't receive either one with my I-130.

Is forever been saying October 2012 Everytime they update. Don't know why because they already had some 2013 approvals. Now no one knows who to believe and the actual timeframe, everyone hearing different stories when they call to speak to someone.

no Steve, Everyone is just making their own best guess.... They post those processing times to make it easier on them. They can still say they are within the estimated processing times. So they don't have to act on anything because it isn't past those posted times. IMO, it can be viewed 100 different ways. How ever you view it, the fact is, we all have to sit tight .

Nothing will change the way they processing anything. No letter, no blog, not even a phone call. Even the expedites are taking a while.

yes, it is true.. those processing estimates are telling us an old picture of a situation which has occurred long time ago.

those aren't real time estimates, or LIVE estimates.

in order for them to say that we are not past the posted processing times, they have to tell us day to day estimates. if i call today they have to tell me what they are processing today? not what they were processing yesterday, because they always be right.

we will only be past processing time when there is only a handful of petitions

anyway they have a difficult job so lets be positive and hope for our best,dancin5hr.gif

I-129f/K-1 filers fought for their case and now they get approved in circa 19 days.

This is such a joke. The USCIS really needs to take some lessons from the UKBA and other agencies within the EU, who have this thing down so well. I've reached the point where I just don't care anymore and have thrown up my arms in disgust. Screw it.
