I was crying like a baby I was so happy. It's such a great feeling. I can't wait for you all to experience it too! I also can't wait to tell him. Tomorrow is their Independence Day so he will already be celebrating, now he has even more to celebrate.

To be very honest, I wasn't expecting to make this post for at least another month....but I just got a text message from USCIS saying "On September 30, 2013 we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I-130"....blah, blah blah...I didn't even read the rest. dancin5hr.gif I'm still in shock. The only bad thing....my hubby's phone is turned off or out of battery.....I can't wait to tell him. I'm so happy right now!

And the partial government shutdown has begun! :-(

Fox News is reporting that the Department of State is going to continue processing foreign applications for US visas and combined with the info someone posted directly from a USCIS employee, I think we will be okay. Maybe they will even work faster if they aren't being bothered by any other government agencies contacting them! :-)

Here's hoping for a nice, quiet, productive day at USCIS & NVC.good.gif

But boy does this shutdown make the US look bad. dry.png

Congratulations!!! I feel good that USCIS has started processing April I-130 petitions.

@deltagal: I have the same I-130 NOA1 as you. Can you confirm if your case was in NBC and remained there (without transferring to local field office) and your NOA1 is April 29th ?

I wish I can get the approval somehow...
