Hello everyone,

I am an American Citizen and filed early April for my Japanese wife. Those suckers got the goods April 25th an I got the notice of acceptance e-mail on the 30th and a week later the hard copy in the mail. I reside in Japan with my wife, moved within the country from one city to another, and changed my address last month. Then yesterday I get this message when I checked my status on the USCIS website:

Has any one had a similar undeliverable mail problem or a similar situation as mine? Thanks for reading.

I'm a USC living in Japan who also filed for his Japanese wife in early April, PD of April 15.

I received my NOA1 with no problem, and still am waiting for word on my NOA2. I got no error messages so far.

I don't expect there to be an address problem...

I agree... "current" or "not current".. it's just ridiculous. Hideous, even. Just saying.

I know all married couples want to be together...

But, but...

I was on uscis site and tried checking my status and it won't let me? It says the server is down!

in my company we also usually schedule maintenance for Sundays (if it is necessary) so work is not interrupted. This happens.

I'm the beneficiary.

Want to know what's happening with your case? Here's the USCIS tracking page (get an account and see if the case's been 'touched'!). Don't get your hopes up though, some cases never even appear there despite being successfully processed.

Hmmm

After spending 1 hr reading all topics. There is

A major backlog at NVC. So many k1 petitions are stuck.

That facilitie opening to process i130 should bring some good news but then again we all will be stuck in NVC.

This process had been too stressful for all us.iam hoping we should see approvals starting tomorrow.

Finger corrosed. We all have been waiting for this facilite to open.

I have never look forward for a Monday this much in my life

Hate to be a Debbie Downer, but this morning I sent a message to my lawyer asking if the USCIS processing will be affected by a government shut down. His answer was "yes" so we should all say our prayer tonight so the government gets its sh!t together . Its not enough that the USCIS hasn't been processing but now a shutdown. What a horrible time it is to be stuck in this process.....

I don't think the shutdown affects the USCIS because of the fees they get. So at least NOA2's will be received. Right? Somebody correct me if I'm wrong.
