The petition is very vague. "After my wife and I went to Mexico to visit her parents, she was not allowed to return." He doesn't mention why. He mentions i-160 which indicate she had some inadmissibility issue and that is the reason why she was denied entry. Well, in my opinion violation of law should have consequences. We are a nation of law.

I see no one answered your question here the information I'm surprised you have a WSC case number but I-130 usually pass through MSC then sent to local office to confirm call USCIS and ask to speak to Tier 2 support person

MSC = National Benefits Center

(Lee Summit MO)

WSC = Western Service Center

(Laguna Nique CA)

And Portsmouth New Hampshire is the National Visa Center after you recieve your NOA 2 your case will be forwarded there.

Best of luck hope your case proceeds faster than mine. :)

Hi! We filed April 2013. We received an NOA1 within a few days. It says our case is a "WSC" # and has been sent to Lee's Summit, MO.. Anyone have any idea's about this location. I thought they went to Portsmouth New Hampshire.

As far as i remember, she entered with a K-1 which is a single entry visa. You're supposed to file for AoS after you're married, without leaving the country.

I'm the beneficiary.

The DS-260 is essentially an online form version of the DS-230. Starting last week they switched over to online forms, so no more DS-230.

So does my husband still have to be the one to fill it out or can I do it?

I'm not really sure about that. I know at the end you have to "electronically sign" the form, and I'm pretty sure your husband has the be the one to do that. I can't remember if it lets you fill out some of the questions and then save it to come back to later. If it does, maybe you could fill it out and then have him log in and sign the form. I'm sure you can ask in the NVC monthly filers thread and get some better answers!

DS-260 is to be filled by the future immigrant (beneficiary), it's the actual visa application.

I'm the beneficiary.

I submitted a request for an inquiry of my case to the senators office on Thursday last week. Here is the response i Received today... ONLY 3 WORKING DAYS LATER...

After a review of our systems is was found that Case MSC 13 909 XXXXX, Form I-130 filed on behalf of XXXXXXXX is currently pending. NBC continues to receive I-130s and ship them to the field for adjudication. Based on the current volume of pending immigrant visa petitions, our current processing time for I-130s is approximately 6 months from the date of this response.

NBC will review and adjudicate I-130 Immediate Relative requests for expedite (if the file is located at the NBC.) If you request your case be expedited the case will need meet USCIS expedite criteria. All expedite requests must be accompanied by supporting documents that demonstrate that one or more of the expedite criteria have been met. Information regarding the expedite criteria can be found at the link below.

This msg. seem to be standard template...just change the MSC number and everything gets filled out automatically.

Almost everyone is getting this msg, it does not even look like they will look at the status of petition
