yep, so with NBC giving many approvals, then backlog at the National Visa Center...I guess that means we'll be right in the same boat when NVC gets the approved I-130. Another 4-8 month wait!!! Incredible. Of course by then the "undocumented" already illegally in the country will probably be allowed to process, so.....Need I say more?

We need to find a National News Network to check out what's happening. FOX perhaps?

Me too I feel like such a fool. The talk about the new office opening at the end of the month doesn't make me very positive either, makes me think it may just mean that getting medical and interview dates will be an extra long wait. Feels so hopeless! I'm now hoping to move to US by April..

As per the area code, the petition should be in Fresno local office. Anyone know about that office?

The files were only going to the local offices to ease the volume. I am not sure why everyone still thinks all files are being forwarded to local offices. Tier 2 reps have told me and several others that local offices were only getting files if there was something wrong or missing. I was also told the same thing by my attorney. Sending files to local offices is NOT the norm.

The kansas facility is supposed to help with the volume. We have to wait until they start processing. My file is in Missouri according to the address on the NOA1, from what I gather, May + have the Kansas address. IMO, MSC will process what they have and the Kansas facility will start processing what they have. The mystery is why they haven't been processing normally while waiting for the new facility to open...Makes me wonder what they have in store for us. The thought of NVC trying to keep up with the new volume when they do actually start working.... its a sad and scarey thought

did you notice Thai strange phenomenon:

applications filled between April 4th till 9th = 60,000 (4 days)

applications filled between April 12th till 15th = 3,000 only (4days)

Don't loose hope. Some VJ members thought they were no I-130 approvals for CR1 this past week. I came across one that was approved last Friday: MSC1390701024 / March 1, 2013 - NOA1 / August 30 - NOA2.

I have been tracking some receipt numbers for quite some time. Mine falls within the range.

MSC1390801111 thru MSC1390801129 (March 18, 2013 - NOA 1)

MSC1390901700 thru MSC1390901725 (April 2, 2013 - NOA 1)

MSC1390901751 thru MSC1390901770 ((April 2, 2013 - NOA 1)

MSC1390901157 thru MSC1390901168 (April 3, 2013 - NOA 1)

MSC1390901725 thru MSC1390901750 (April 3, 2013 - NOA 1)

We may all feel NBC is not working on I-130; they are; but not good enough for our liking. Hopefully we will see more approvals this Septeber.

I think the I-130 are only 2-3% of what they are working on at USCIS. There was a big load of work visa's that went thru starting in February. So the NVC is still backed up with those too. They must work on a balance of how fast the whole system is working, I think. I don't think they worry about the CRI's so much.

I just found this on the July I-130 filers. I am confused with the FIANCE(E) part on a I-130. Maybe i don't know as much about this as i thought. I was thinking Fiance(E) was only with a I-129f.

Until one gets a transfer letter or USCIS Case status says " The I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN was transferred and is now being processed at a USCIS office. You will be notified by mail when a decision is made, or if the office needs something from you. If you move while this case is pending, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address or call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283.

As far as I can tell, it is still normal for cases to be forwarded to local offices. When you call USCIS they will not tell you it gets forwarded, but it does. Almost always. In fact, here is the transcript from the recent NBC and AILA meeting. Check question 1 bullet 2.
