Don't loose hope. Some VJ members thought they were no I-130 approvals for CR1 this past week. I came across one that was approved last Friday: MSC1390701024 / March 1, 2013 - NOA1 / August 30 - NOA2.

I have been tracking some receipt numbers for quite some time. Mine falls within the range.

MSC1390801111 thru MSC1390801129 (March 18, 2013 - NOA 1)
MSC1390901700 thru MSC1390901725 (April 2, 2013 - NOA 1)
MSC1390901751 thru MSC1390901770 ((April 2, 2013 - NOA 1)
MSC1390901157 thru MSC1390901168 (April 3, 2013 - NOA 1)
MSC1390901725 thru MSC1390901750 (April 3, 2013 - NOA 1)

We may all feel NBC is not working on I-130; they are; but not good enough for our liking. Hopefully we will see more approvals this Septeber.

@ Steven.Plant, don't loose faith, I am sure your petition will be approved sooner than you know.

Thank you for the kind words,

I have been tracking the VJ Stats for 3 months now. I have a big Excel spread sheet were I recorded all the daily postings for each service center. The NOA 2 for the I-130 stopped for the most part February 20th. My spread sheet has been saying 50 more days for 3 months now (plus or minus 2 days). there is a steady drop for the K3 filers. almost a match now.

I have also noticed the few approvals you mention. but its not like the volume there was before. so yes I think 8-10 months plus now.

So for relief from a big slow down people are supposed to be able to file for a temp. visa the K3. Now I read (only on VJ) that it is dead. Every where else I look they simply write that if the NVC gets both at the same time they cancel the K3. So if the I-130 and I-129f are placed together and return to the beginning, then how could any K3's be processed and show up on VJ. More so why does the Department of State still have that as a listed option.

I'll say it once again though, tracking by number doesn't give any info about which field office was doing this.

I'm the beneficiary.

BACK today from visiting with my husband ... It was sooooo hard to leave him. I was able to read posts on VJ while I was there but I couldn't comment on anything from my galaxy Note. It was killing me HA HA

I wanted to comment on the 5 month USCIS goal. It is just that.... a "GOAL" that is the standard target. Of course they have a goal... but of course they never get there.

I was trying to plan out my next visit. I was hoping the next one would be for the interview. My target is a November interview since my original target was squashed by the USCIS ( haha)

Holiday tomorrow... let's hope they all come back from their 3 day weekend and process their little asses off.

I wonder if there is a way to alert the national media to what is happening with USCIS? The news is LITTERED with blah blah blah about all the asylum cases and illegals coming from mexico and the ridiculousness is that work visas for people with pending asylum cases are being processed in weeks while legitimate families are being made to wait months to YEARS! Its an injustice really. I wish a media outfit could get inside a processing facility like VSC (who is clearly so swamped that they are shipping off various forms to other facilities according to the memo on the USCIS site). Maybe if it made national news it would alert the government officials to the problem. I just feel like we're suffering in silence.

I know so many Americans are angry at all the foreigners coming into the country and so help me God, if my husband ever gets hassled in that way, I will go off on that person and explain all the BS we had to go through to get him to the states legally. To do this the honest way. Waiting and being jerked around is the "reward" we are all getting for being law-abiding people. Unfair. mad.gif

It's been a while and just got back from visiting the wifey.. We are already planning our next time together for both Christmas and New Years.. Today is 5 months and 1 day for me but they finally processed my service request to correct a typo (in 4 1/2 months!). So even service requests are going super slow.. Yes I do not believe they are transferring the CR1 visa to local offices any more since Feb because there has been no report of anyone in March or recent filers being forwarded.. As far as what type of I-130s are being transfered, I don't have a clue because I did see the list where files was transfered in June! I know VJ makes a small percentage of I-130 somewhere around 1 in 500.. I have to theoricalize that spouse related filers are on a shelf while others are being processed first right now.. At this point a solid answer is what I would want from USCIS!! If it is going to take 2 or 3 years then let me know and bring back the K-3.. The wait is horrible.. And the "New" office has not approved 1 I-130 that I'm aware of nor have they even stated that they was going to process any USC with alien spouse visa, so don't get your hopes high on this or you may get disappointed because right now it's just a dust bowl of applications.. So where is April's files? All of ours are at NBC if your a USC living in the US filing for Alien spouse.. For children, parents, ect they are being transfered (processed 2-3 months at CSC ect).. For USC living abroad was being processed faster but seemed to stop at April.. But my info is based on Feb thru May on VJ and also from USCIS website mixing it all together.. 9 out of 10 people told the same it has to be true correct?

Finished for now!!

Knowing how unreliable and inconsistent information received from Tier 2 are; I can only keep my hopes high when a tier 2 I spoke with about four weeks ago told me the NBC new office in Overland Park, Kansas will begin processing I-130 the last week of September. The same tier 2 stated I should hear something by the first week of October. In the mean time, starting Sep 14, I will begin putting in service request via Senator and House of Rep offices.

So sick of USCIS. Just bought a air ticket a few min ago to check on my wife on a 12 day visit in December to Cameroon. I can't wait to see my beauty.

I'll be inquiring again soon. I was told the senators office would check every 30 days for me.. so its about that time again.

I am surprised someone actually gave you an approximate time.. Who knows... maybe they actually will start processing at the end of this month... but they still have Feb and March before us. a November interview would work out fine for us. October would be better, but I know that is pushing it. My husband is ready to get his medical exam and everything else at the drop of a hat.

The thought of the NVC being backed up scares the hell out of me.... I hope they hired more people .....

Tim,

I don't think it will be January.. I really think things are going to pick up this month. At least your wife gets her GC when you go for your interview.... we still have to file a waiver. That processing time is posted at 4 months, but I am reading that people are waiting 6+ months. ranting33va.gifcray5ol.gifClockWatch2.gif

At this point, i feel that USCIS just doesnt give a ####### about American citizens...their priority is giving amnesty to illegal immigrants...screw the citizens. I am so fed up! I am an april filer...I would be surprised if I got a NOA2 by next summer at this rate. It looks so grim! And all the k1 approvals flying out...ranting33va.gif I wish just one Congressman would really bring this issue forward...but its never going to happen. We dont matter unfortunately...can you tell I am not in a good mood? grrrr!
