When I originally called and asked if my file had been transferred they said "no, we only do that if we need an interview". Then when I finally got my address changed to my foreign address I called again to see if they will transfer. The Tier 2 told me "no, your address is foreign it will be processed at NBC. Only people with national addresses are transferred."

That's the issue. Two people will tell you two different things.

I had a foreign address when we filed in April, an APO box. Now I have a California address. The tier 2 I spoke with told me my file would not be transferred and would be processed at NBC. She also told me I could expect it to be approved sometime around the end of August. Either way hopefully us April folks will start getting approvals and NOA 2's soon.

originally I was hoping for the end of August... I got over that... Now I'm hoping for October. I never heard of a tier 2 person giving a timeframe so MAYBE there is something to it ! I HOPE I HOPE I HOPE ...

I looks like February is getting some approvals.

Yeah I thought it seemed odd too. I wont hold my breath for it, but I sure wont complain if it does get approved. I figured late Sept or early Oct would be reasonable time frame.

A reasonable time frame would have been sometime in JULY..I think you have to expect the worst and just be happy when something good happens. And still try to stay positive during the wait.... Sounds impossible, huh?

I have my own charts going based on what I can find. looks like we've been stuck on 50-52 days to still wait for about 42 days now. My guess is another 60 days and we should see the April filers 80% done. I think they have not even opened the box with my files in it yet.

I wake up at 3AM every morning to see her on QQ. Thats 6PM her time, she hurrys home to see me then. I leave for work at 7, all that time its like we see each other thru a window. We talk and eat and do our house cleaning watching each other. Later in her evening I get to see her laugh at a TV show or I visit with her son and brother.

I called her my wife in a box, she laughed and said she's been calling me her husband in a box for weeks now.

This week.... 0 VJ I-130 approvals so far.. I wonder what are everyone's thoughts of filing a K-3 at this point? Feb being told another 6 months is very unacceptable!!

Note to self.. Breathe and don't call just rent a boat and do it the old fashion way because honest people finish last.. :(

Finished for now!!

Anyone know of any history in the past years of letters being sent out about a 6 month delay. Is this what happens if they get backed up. I mean did the USCIS do this before when the time begain to extend.

I have the I-130 working for 108 Days now. Also the I-129F (for the K-3) 49 days. VJ today shows zero K3 in the past 90 days and there were few before that.

Still the Department of State website says that if you want your spose to come to the USA sooner to wait file for a K3. The NOA 1 for the I-129f did say that she now has an Alien Number. Other than that I still dont know if our I-129f (K3) is speeding along with all the (K1) I-129f or put us 60 days behind were we would have been.

But I do think the I-129f filed after the I-130 tells them your in a hurry.

Yeah I read the same.. But also read that need have I-130 filed also so thought waste of money because at time K-3 visa was 9 month total process while I-130 was being approved in 4 months.. But nowwwww I'm thinking if it taking 12 months to get I-130 approved then K-3 actually has time to be approved.. Maybe it is to late for me right now because my I-130 better get approved in 9 months

Finished for now!!

...One would think any petition would imply we don't want to wait forever. Lol.

I filed the I-129f before I found the VJ website. After reading some of the posts here I was very upset that maybe that put our I-130 at the bottom of the pile with the I-129f now attached to it.

I did see that the California Service Center was proccessing the I-129f faster than the I-130 at that time by about 100 days.

But I'm not saying anyone should do both. But I did so we'll see. Maybe I'll get two letters saying USICS is adding 6 months to both.

I wonder if the K1 filers are getting the 6 more month letters too now.
